Love this business. Don and Christine are lovely people. The food is fantastic. The staff are lovely to deal with. We have eaten takeaways from here so many times and every time is good quality food

Tonight I had a hankering for a burger, and not a burger from one of the common franchise chains but a REAL burger, specifically a Bacon and Egg burger. As I was heading back to Stoke from Richmond, I stopped in at Salisbury Takeaways. Obviously a popular spot, I placed my order and waited. I did not have to wait long, regardless of the queue that had formed. I ordered a half scoop of chips, a piece of fish, and a hotdog. The chips were good, and the fish was cooked perfectly. Reports from my niece were that the hotdog was one of the best she had ever had. The burger was good too, with a hand-made meat pattie, grilled nicely. Very fresh ingredients and a delicious soft bun. Good spot for a bite.

Good crunchy chips. Scoops a little smaller than what I get in Christchurch. Nice looking range of burgers including vegetarian, but I didn't try one this (first) visit.

Really yummy fish n chips. Not greasy at all, and well cooked

Friendly staff and huge gluten free and non gluten free menu. My husband had fish, chips and onion rings all gluten free. They were delicious.

Amazing gluten free and vegan range and even a vegetarian burger. They even have a separate vat for Celiac’s. Friendly staff and good fish Blue Cod is worth every penny

The best gluten free fish n chips I have ever tasted! Fresh, not greasy, good portion size. Will definitely be our local now. Hubby's normal gurnard was delicious too. Highly recommend. Friendly staff too

Fried mars bars are amazing, fish was great and chips crunchy, topped with dollops of garlic butter made it perfect alongside the fish. Good job, however the crumbed fish could have been better.

The most delicious gluten free fish & chips I have ever tasted. Just moved here from the north island and was so happy to find this fresh and beautifully cooked food. Hubby's gurnard was perfect too!

Fantastic owners always up for a yarn (time allowing) awesome chips, full Gluten free menu. Great all rounder.....

Best fish’n’chips I’ve had in ages. Fish is always generous and well cooked and can’t fault the service at all. Great range of gluten free (for the Mrs) as well, and we’ve shopped around before. This place is the best!

Fresh yummy chips and the gourmet chicken burger was amazing also my hubby loved his fish and hotdog will definitely be back!!

25/03/2017<br/>Today my partner and I thought we'd get fish n chips for dinner, witch was algood. Anyway my partner ordered a chicken burger and is highly disappointed in it.. the chicken Pattie looked like grinded up cat sick and had about half an onion chopped up in it with 1 lettuce leaf.<br/> We also got a scoop of chips with extra salt.. well I'd love to know where the scoop is? This wouldn't even fill a 4 year old child and as for the extra salt, there appeared to be none on there.. we are both very disappointed in the food we have brought.. <br/>Will not be going back.

My mother visited this store 9/6/2015 to purchase fish n chips. We are Maori, as she entered the store the female attendant placed the bowl of free lemons for customers under the counter. As the elderly man, who was before my mother left the store he offered her his fizzy drink which you get with a combo pack she accepted. As this was the same purchase my mother had ordered the female server tried to decline my mother the drink which was rightfully hers with her purchase because of the kind old mans drink offer. She was not treated well or felt welcomed. My 65yr old mother left that store feeling less than a human and was close to tears. WHY!!We have lived in this neighbourhood for nearly 4yrs I find this behaviour sad and disgusting I will be telling everyone I know. Terrible

We visited this store on Sat 30 May 2015,  about 5.30pm with my Mum.  Now I am part Maori but my colouring is pale my elderly mum however is alot dark skinned and looks Maori and very proud to be Maori.  This man that served or attempted to serve us left us waiting while about 10 other people came into the store after us, were served, this man looked my mum up and down between the times she was TOTALLY ignored.  She felt totally terrible and asked if we could leave because of the way this so called man was treating her in a passive aggressive manner.  We left the store and my mum got into the car and cried - DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR DISGUSTING RACIST BEHAVIOUR, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED.
