Review Earl Of Richmond Restaurant - Richmond

Best pub/restaurant food in the area by a good stretch. Warm atmosphere, staff always welcoming and know their stuff. Nice terrace that gets the evening sun in the summer.

The food is absolutely gorgeous. Hugely recommend the crab and chip butty, the smoked fish and caviar vol au vent for starters, and the poached haddock with lentils. The menu is thoughtful and utterly delicious. This is not a good location if you are hard of hearing because the acoustics are challenging. The staff were truly wonderful and looked after us really well. Exceptionally well made cocktails and the cremant was also delicious.

Great evening here... Lovely local friendly, warm and welcoming ambience. Happy hour is well worth it too (4-7pm)

Booked out the blue pleased we did I had the steak. Possibly one of the best I have ever eaten fabulous. The crab chip butty needed a bit more crab but I am being picky and wine was half price. Good meal and a very good deal, well done the chef.

Had a nice dining experience. The food was good and received a friendly and professional service. The food items were a bit pricey though, higher then other pubs which do same Sunday roast.

Went there for a Christmas lunch with a big group of friends, the food was really tasty, well presented, perfect portions. I'm particular impressed with the service, attentive, friendly and generous.

Friendly atmosphere and staff, lovely decor. Only ordered from the drinks menu, but very much enjoyed their excellent Roadie IPA.

We went for the half price Friday lunch and really enjoyed it. I had the spinach and ricotta malfatti (small) portion, while he had a Barnsley lamb chop and aubergine with zaatar. Both excellent. The beefheart tomato salad was good but uninspired, the chips were a small but tasty portion. Our desserts were a delicious Snickers ice cream and a disappointing Tarte tatin. The total was £34. We were pleasantly surprised by lovely food and the pub lost some points because the atmosphere was bland and decor shabby. Service was very good. We booked again, this time for Sunday roast.

A truly excellent Sunday roast. Great selection and every dish was immaculately presented with great flavor. The vegan option of cauliflower was great. Prices are on the higher end for a pub roast but well worth it for the quality.

We are very lucky to have this place on our doorstep. The food is always fantastic and I love their roasts and burgers (especially on Mondays when it's burger and beer for £15). I have a sweet tooth too and their desserts are always top notch.

What a gorgeous little pub with an lovely inviting vibe. The owner is so easy to talk to and made me feel at ease the moment I turned up there. The food is delicious I'm not one for salads but i saw someone else get one so I ordered the same and wasn't disappointed. I liked the place so much I'm looking to host some events there. It is a short walk from Darlston station.

I went to the Duke of Richmond for New year's Eve. We had a fantastic night!!! Great staff and delicious food. 3 amazing courses for £ 55!!! Highly recommended!!!

Truly everything you need for a tasty and traditional English roast. Glorious afternoon, flowing wine and delicious food. Only downfall is the overuse of truffle in the cauliflower.

Top notch boozer in East London.. Really good vibe about it, great beer and overall drinks options and the food we saw going past looked great. Deffo somewhere we would go more if we lived a little closer!!

The beef Sunday Roast was spectacular, one of the best I have eaten recently. The Margarita Picante is just great. It is not to spicy, but it gives a great twist to a great classic.
