Sal's Authentic New York Pizza - Richmond

When you are hungry and can't be bothered cooking, (a common occurrence for me!) you take stock of your takeaway/dineout options and battle with deciding which is the healthiest choice. ...and then sometimes you just get pizza! I love pizza, but unfortunately, my body does not. Well, luckily, there is Sals amazingly unique recipe dough. I find that the pizza base on Sals pizzas do not give me the typical digestive issues I have with other more typical outlets. Another bonus? It tastes amazing! I popped in one night to pick up a large pizza (Large is an understatement!) and could not decide between the 100 pepperoni black garlic and the Buffalo chicken. Fortunately I could choose a half and half, and I could have both in one pizza. Upon ordering the pizza I was informed that the kitchen had run out of black garlic which was a real shame, so I 'downgraded' to the standard pepperoni. The pizza was made very quickly in the clean and tidy kitchen and I was able to collect it in 10 minutes. As mentioned above, the pizza was delicious. Besides the amazing base, the toppings were well balanced with the pepperoni sitting nicely in the flavourful profile with the cheese, and the Buffalo chicken had a nice hint of blue cheese. The cheese dripped from the slices, just how good pizza should. Also, the serving was huge, and the next day heated up, I'm sure it tasted even better! Next time you are wanting pizza, do yourself a favour and skip the more typical options. It won't cost you a lot more, but your body (and taste buds) with thank you for it!

It's always a safe option having a 5 Borough pizza at sal's. It's just super yummie!!! I'd always recommend to dine in and get that sizzling hot pie delivered right in front of you, ready to enjoy;)

I had the pleasure of visiting Sal's Pizza and let me tell you, it was an absolute culinary delight! The pizzas were out-of-this-world delicious, with the perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings. I tried both the classic pepperoni and the plain cheese pizzas, and they were both simply divine. But what really set this place apart was the amazing seasoning blend they use - just a sprinkle of it takes the flavor to a whole new level! And if you're a fan of a bit of heat, be sure to ask for some chili flakes to add to your pie. But the real star of the show at Sal's Pizza was the fantastic service from the manager, Bonny. She was the epitome of hospitality, greeting us with a warm smile and treating us like family from the moment we stepped in the door. Her cheerful attitude and attention to detail made our experience truly special. Overall, I can't recommend Sal's Pizza highly enough. If you're looking for the perfect combination of mouthwatering pizza and exceptional service, look no further than this gem of a restaurant. Five stars all around!

Staff were great, very friendly! The pizzas are huge (7year olds hand for refrence lol), we got half and half-cheese and pepperoni, although i didn't think think they were that flavorsome they still were a lot better then other pizza shops around, and you only need a couple slices for a main meal. The garlic rolls, were to die for, they were delicious. Will difiently be ordering those again. Tables are a bit small compared to the size of the pizzas, makes it a bit hard if you have a larger group. But overall experience was great

The girls in richmond were so lovely and helped us out with the menu, unfortunately some random guy came in and tried to tell them what to do and then took food out of the cabinet with his hands and walked out, he was really rude towards the staff!
