This was our first time at The Rock, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was really good and the service was amazing. This is the best pub we have been to in a long time.
Rocked up there on our e bikes , had a beer and ordered lunch. I had roast of the day and Gill had a Winner Winner Chicken Dinner. A reasonable size meal that was cooked perfectly . You felt a great atmosphere when you walked in. Dog friendly must be on a leash and only in the Garden Bar. Staff were very pleasant and helpful . A staff member brought our little woof woof a bowl of water, with out asking for it . It's those little things that you remember and appreciate . I know Woof Woof does .

A group of us from Sumner had lunch at Quartz. The staff were really very welcoming. We had our orders taken very quickly. The menu was more than adequate and very well priced. $21 for two courses. One of our members had the seafood soup. It came in a huge bowl with two slices of toast and looked very appetizing. The roast of the day was beef which was very tender. There was a good selection of roast vegetables. I was particularly impressed at checkout. The restaurant had the best way of taking orders that I've seen. We just gave our names and immediately were told what our order was and the price. Highly recommended.
Excellent roast beef meal last night. Awesome to have such a variety of roast and green vegetables. The rest of the party enjoyed the chicken pasta, ribs, salmon, and stuffed mushrooms. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended outing with friends for a wet and miserable winter evening!

Great place, great staff and awesome food. Bar snacks are excellent and helps of food on the plate. And you have to try the roast, lots of meat and gravy and a good variety of veges.
