Great place here in the heart of the Industrial area of Rolleston. Tastefully decorated. Staff very friendly and helpful, food was really nice. Dishes consumed were battered blue cod and Haloumi salad. Will definitely be back to try something else.
I had the seafood chowder which typically, one does not order at a pub. I went with my gut and this time my gut was on the ball. Delicious. Not too much cream. A good thick country chowder with salmon, prawn, mussels. Went with the family so the atmosphere was 5 star 😍 staff (owners) a great and I am biased as they are family friends. But nice building. They have a few events throughout the week.
Ask about when the Argentine barbeque is arriving! Demand it!
Met a friend after work. Got pulled pork burger and chips for $15! (Current Monday special) delicious. And treated myself to a chocolate cheese cake with a brandy snap. Totally recommend eating here
Returned to the silver dollar after a good while, pleasantly surprised good food and service.
Great place to hang out with your friends. I really enjoyed there's eggs, benedict, and their bailey's thickshake.

Wasnt quite sure why we weren't served as we queued as the bar lady shot off to serve at another till just as we were due to order. A group of 6. 3 got served, 3 had to wait??
Went on Sunday for my wife's birthday, not too busy at 6pm, friendly staff, price was a bit high (but not too bad) and the food was delicious. I had the three sausage meal which was good, my wife had the pork belly which was beautifully tender (the crackling was very salty but when drunk with the suggested cider was just right).
