Review The Phenix Chinese Restaurant - Rolleston

Very nice place my partner and I usually go there for a dinner, food is delicious, service is amazing. Will definitely recommend it.

Great experience at the Phenix. Plenty of helpful staff on hand our order was taken in a friendly manner and the food arrived quickly, even though they were obviously busy with the amount of takeaway orders they were producing, and other tables they were serving. Menu was easy to understand and had a good variety. Food was delicious and the portions were large, we couldn’t finish it all and took some home. We will definitely eat there again.

Pros... Friendly service, seated quickly, entrees to table snappy, mains were big portions and tasted great, prices were cheap, i wouldve paid more tbh. Resturant wasnt busy, but still very clean and enjoyable tp eat in. Cons... ahh thats gonna be tough.

This restaurant is excellent. I love the food. I like the Lazy Susans. They make it easy to share the food on the big round tables. This is a good place to go for groups of people. Very reasonable prices by today's standards.

really worthwhile! deep fried squid lovely and fresh with a nice light batter. loved the hor fun noodles. wonderfully crunchy fried won tan. service in particular was really really good. Ken switched easily between english and cantonese and could discuss the menu in either language ....great job! Phenix restaurant is a great place to eat in Rolleston.

Very tasty choice of dishes. Combination Meat Fried Noodles & Sweet n Sour Chicken with Ginger sauce are delicious.

Highly recommended! This restaurant has really nice, courteous and attentive staff. Food is good and the place is so clean.

Food was good, fast and fresh, we had the chicken and corn soup, mapo tofu, beef ho fun noodles, & the mixed veg with black fungus, all of it was pretty on point! My only criticism is that we walked in at about 8 asked for a table and got told 'we close at 8:30' which didnt really answer whether or not we could get a table, after being told be need to order right away we got a table, felt like they almost would have preferred us to walk out rather than spend our money there.

Good service and yummy food, I have ordered takeaway food tonight, after arrived home I found one of the dishes made mistake. I have contacted with the restaurant and they delivered other remake dishes to my home. I feel so surprised for this super sincere service , thanks for the delivery boy ! Excellent food. Had the satay beef and sweet and sour pork which were awesome. Fast service and good portion sizes.
