So tender and succulent the pork ribs and literally lusty the fries with bacon sauce.
As the sign quotes, truly food which nourishes body and mind.
The only thing I'll suggest is to introduce some selection of draft local beers.

Seriously great food, seriously relaxed place. Perfect. Our group of 5 got in just before the dinner rush, but man, wait if you have to - it’s totally worth it!!! Safe for our friend with celiac disease even! We will be returning!

The guy who is running this place knows what he is doing. The restaurant is a little bit tucked away on the corner between a couple of other shops. We were lucky enough to walk in and get seated without a reservations - maybe call ahead before rocking up. We were immediately greeted and given the regular menus and drink menus. The place is set in an open table type setting with no table service - you just order at the bar.
We ordered a burger with chips and the dory fish and chips. WOW! Amazing food made of high-quality ingredients. You can't visit Rotorua and not stop in at this place. I went in with my husband but there were large tables of families too! Lot's of food options including a bar with soda, beer, and other alcohol.
Great enviroment with even better service. Didn't catch the name of the guy running the show but he was friendly, accomodating, and made sure everything was up to standard. 10/10 no complaints here.

Interesting and thoughtfully designed burgers, epic pork belly bites, and next level service. We had a great conversation with the owner about his thought process for flavour combinations. I'd recommend giving it a try as the combinations make for a burger you wouldn't get anywhere else.

Was our best find whilst in Rotorua. Ordered their 50/50 cheeseburger, which was cooked mid-rare and juicy as heck. Went back for seconds with their pork belly bites, and even ordered dessert after. Restaurant is tucked away in a little corner, but don't let appearances fool you- both the food and service were top notch! As an added bonus, we also appreciated the head chef coming out to say hi and ask how our meals were. 😊

This was my 1st time at this restaurant. A+++customer, they make you feel at home. And they check with you to make sure your meal is satisfactory. There's a good family atmosphere. There are kids menus and highchairs available. The open plan bathroom is clean and tidy and large enough to comfortably fit a pram through the door. I ordered a cheese burger it was made with a delicious "home-made style" meat patty. This restaurant was highly recommended to me from friends.

It seems quite popular so I tried as well. Really, I think it is quite good but I like more American's huge burger so I can only score 4. However, it tastes really different compared to chain store or US style but good way. I will recommend that you also need to try here as well. The only thing not taste to me is the chips...well, not meet my stomach.

What a find! A restaurant with personal delight in the food they serve. Easily one of the best, if not the best, burgers I have ever tasted - the original smokehouse burger. Loved the chicken wings and tenders too. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. The staff are super friendly and happy to have your business. My wife, who's coeliac, probably had one of the best eat out meals she's had in a long, long time. Would absolutely recommend and look forward to them opening in Tauranga.

Stopped in after a days work. This place does not disappoint. Had a solo meal today and switched out the fries for a slaw. It was awesome. Deadset the best food I’ve tried in Vegas.

Extremely delicious ! The must-try restaurant in Rotorua! The grilled rib is very soft and you can easily tear apart the meat from the bone! Adding some pepper and salt will make it more delicious! The french fries is also quite awesome! Very delicious can crispy! I can’t tell the reason but it’s extremely delicious!!! Also the garlic bread is also very crispy and smells terrific! Anyway, the experience that day is wonderful for my friend and me. We all enjoyed the meal at the factory. By the way, we ordered “the meal for two” it’s a good deal. During weekend, there are many customers coming for meal! Highly recommend restaurant ~~

What a fantastic place to eat. Awesome friendly hosts, great music and clearly passionate about food and service. Pork belly bites are ridiculously good, phenomenal burgers and chips too. All sauces, bacon, Patties etc are made on site. Great beers too from just down the road. Cheers Jason!

This is a great place for some good quality burgers. They also serve things like Pork Belly Bites which are amazing.
These aren't budget meals like you would find at a fish and chips shop, so be prepared to spend $10-$15 on a burger alone - but trust it's worth it.

Great food, amazing service and an overall fantastic experience. Before even sitting down we were asked if we had any food allergens and with an egg allergic wife we often struggle eating out, this was a refreshing experience to be prompted before having to ask the question. The meals were quick, filling and amazingly priced as well as nice and smokey. Above all the banter with the staff made the experience extra special. No fake smiles, just genuine banter and laughs from people who bring you genuine food. We'll be coming back.

Gluten free is easy here. While they do offer ‘normal’ buns for burgers (as well as gluten free), they know about coeliac disease and are careful with cross contamination, you’re in good hands. Every town ought to have a Factory Smokehouse & Grill!
