Really yummy ice-cream and great price loves all the flavours and I was so happy they did warm desert options where I got a hot brownie and ice-cream. Was just what I wanted to end my night and the presentation was very well thought through.

They make good suggestions . If you are not a local and always stick to what you know , in my case chocolate - not a bad idea to listen to their suggestions. I tried the fig walnut and it was amazing ! Sit out side , watch the lake and enjoy your ice cream .

Very cool little spot next to the strip of restaurants on Eat Street in Rotorua. There are a lot of ice cream options including standard flavors and also some Kapati special flavors that are a little pricier. The staff were very friendly and answered all our questions. It was busy but the girls working were quick to take and prepare our orders. I ordered the Kapati berry ice cream and it was served with fresh cream on top and the berry sauce in a waffle cone - delicious. Husband ordered a ice cream sundae with a brownie. Again, it was with the fresh cream which was amazing! There was also a fridge with drinks. No complaints about the staff, service, or ice cream! Additional notes... did not see a bathroom on site. We went at night and there were little flies EVERYWHERE around the lights which were placed over the outdoor seating. This meant we couldn't sit on the chairs/tables as there were little flies all over them. Not at the fault of the parlour or staff.

Our tour guide said to stop here and have a snack and so glad we did! The Hokey Pokey ice cream was divine. There was no rhythm or reason to a line in this establishment.

Ice cream was good, but I've had better. Could have been creamer and better quality. I ordered 2 scoops (cookie dough/cookies and cream) with a warm waffle base and hot fudge topping with whipped cream. Service was wonderful and everyone was very nice.

They had a variety of vegan sorbet flavors and a plant based chocolate ice cream. The vanilla bean sorbet was really good!

Really really good place for Ice Cream. A bunch of variety, options galore. Awesome view of the Lake. A must to visit especially during summer!

Lots of choice including icecream, yoghurt snowfreeze, V and sorbet. Can taste first. Good sized scoops. Walk across the village green to lakefront or sit outside on their chairs. Been around for as long as I can remember with consistently good service.

Overwhelmed with the flavours. I had the butterscotch pecan and hubby had strawberry which was tad milky for my taste but he found it not as sweet as he would have liked it to be

The team here are amazing! Really friendly, positive, great customer service, warm smiles and just seemed to be having fun and enjoying their jobs. It really makes a difference to the whole experience when the staff are like that. I got a double scoop ice cream and was offered free toppings! So I got salted caramel sauce, nuts and whipped cream. The ice cream was delicious! They had gluten free, dairy free, vegan and vegetarian options. Top ice cream store!

Friendly staff, but we felt a bit confused... where do we start? Who do we talk to? Multiple people tried to take our order as they were all rushing around. But, the ice cream was yummy and we left satisfied. Would return.

Visiting from OZ, popped in to get an ice cream, wow! The most amazing ice cream with waffles, donuts or in a cone. Highly recommend, I'm craving it now! 🤣

Located in Rotorua Central, across from the park, it's the perfect dessert pit stop after dinner in Eat Streat. There's a wonderful array of flavours and we had a trio of ice creams comprising strawberry, cookies and cream and mochachino fudge. Yum!

AMAZING. I can honestly say that I've never been to Rotorua without stopping at Lady Janes. The ice cream quality is always consistent and the staff are so friendly. The large range of ice cream to choose from is absolutely wonderful! And the banana split delicious,so good that I forgot to take a picture before tucked in. Just brilliant.

Great ice cream made from local produce, smiling staff and some chilly weather. Rotorua at its best. The Place was deserted when we reached since it was time to shut down along with it being the beginning of winter. Do note in winter they shut early by around 5.30 - 6 depending on the crowd.

I had the SALTED CARAMEL Icecream with whipped cream, peanuts and chocolate sauce. My God did it taste good. The salted caramel icecream just tasted so fresh. The peanuts gave it that crunch and the hot chocolate sauce was so nice and gooey. The whipped cream gave it a nice relief from the sweetness of the ice cream.

If you are in rotorua you must check out lady janes for some lovely ice cream. It is located just before eat street from the lakeside.

So! Right at the the end of Eat Street is Lady Janes which is a nice place to get your sweet fix. I have been visiting this place before Eat Street existed and doesn't seem to have changed.

Don't expect an amazing creme brûlée here, it is a nice and simple kiwi ice cream shop. Coming here is more about engaging with the locals, children getting ice cream at the end of a hot day and nostalgia for people like me.
