Salt and pepper squid and green beans with garlic are my go to. Anything you order from the menu is bound to have you returning.

Great food at great prices! Authentic food and super tasty. The staff don't speak English very well. Dinner for 8 adults came to under $200. The Peking duck was amazing and you have to try the sweet and sour pork. It's good to chose a few dishes and share between everyone.

Fabulous, fresh food made by an amazing chef who hails from Shanghai. The wait staff were friendly, helpful and informative about the dishes we chose. A generous glass of wine, too. Top marks!

The food was beautiful, filling and tasteful. The duck was out of this world and not greasy the soup broth was very tasty.
Staff were very pleasing for customers. Especially as we were late....definitely recommending for other customers to eat there.....

We had a good Christmas Dinner at the NZ supreme gourmet house! The service was wonderful and the food excellent. We were three people and shared three different meals. I will come here again if I cross Rotorua again.

Such a great restaurant, have been a few times now and definitely will be back again. The staff are lovely and the food is really good, especially the wonton soup. Really enjoy going there. Highly recommend.

Awesome restaurant ，nice dishes and perfect service ，especially one Chinese waitress who is friendly and helpful. When I enjoyed my meal，I saw her patiently that serving a guest, but the guest was very rude, however, she showed her profession.

Score further dropped due to how long it took food to come out.<br/><br/>Service - 0/5, confiscates my half eaten rice, slow to take order, 20min delay between dishes, no symbolic apology<br/><br/>TL:DR - deer specialist store not enough invested in non-Chinese customers to have descriptive menu items, stingy with power and heating, slow with service, makes mistakes with order then confiscates even the rice, and has 20min lag between one dish and next at non-busy time.

Long wait at the entrance despite having empty tables. Staffs were unfriendly and provided poor & slow service. Not many selection in the menu, and food doesn’t look too appetising. Didn’t even stayed to order. Can’t provide much feedback on the food but service and hospitality wise it’s definitely not good.

We were looking for chinese food for dinner and happened to find this restaurant with good reviews over on tripadvisor so we decided to try it. They specialized in deer although we didn't try any of their deer dishes because it was abit pricey. The other dishes however.... Were cheap and very tasty. They also served big portions. A dish averaged around $15. Overall: cheap, tasty and big. Recommended if your looking for good chinese food.
