Review Milly's All Day Brekfast - Rotorua

If you're looking for a charming, cozy cafe, search no further! This cafe has a warm atmosphere that makes you feel right at home with a touch of chic. Not only are their pastries and breakfast dishes unique and tasty, but their coffee selection is notable as well. All priced reasonably, I was left with a fantastic experience. The cherry on top was the friendly staff, who made me feel right at home. Definitely, a place to visit if you're in the area!

We love Millys and go here every chance we get 🥰. I only ever get the Eggs Benedict and definitely is a big bang for the buck. You can also get a tea pot, hot water pot, a small milk for $4 and there's a free toast station that you can help yourself to while you wait for your food also. I always say I'll try somewhere new but can never resist a Milly's eggs bene. The staff are awesome and understanding of our small children, whom we try our best to clean up after before we leave.

Not only is the food delicious, but it's also affordable, and the Asian people who run it have an appreciation for our Māori culture. It's always an absolute treat walking in and hearing Māori songs. Easy quick breakfast. Great variety. All you can eat toast and spreads. Basic diner/canteen style hall, simple, modest, nothing special but it's not trying to be either. Great value.

Excellent staff, travel down from Auckland ordered Beef &Bacon Burger....when it came was made with steak instead of beef pattie and was delicious, came with chips as well. Good coffee as well. Well worth calling in.

My bf and I came here for breakfast. I got the vege breakfast and he got the full breakfast. Good price for good food! Plus we liked the unlimited bread bar with all the assorted spreads. Also the staff was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks!

The most AMAZING food, service and workers. They went above and beyond and they were so lovely with the kids. Well priced and friendly atmosphere!

This place is always our “GO TO” when visiting rotorua. Owners are welcoming and friendly and with a nice relaxing atmosphere. Good place for breaky or brunch before the long trip home. Nice cafe for families. See you again soon

Milly's my go-to option every time I go to visit Rotorua—beautiful coffee, big portion, and the handy position to the lakefront, plus the super friendly staff all make it a no brainer. The menu is diverse too so you may take a while to figure out what you want as they all sound yum.

Great value for money, service was excellent. Spacious, warm dining area, though not flash, very comfortable.

I had the steak breakfast, minus the chips/hash browns and tomatoes. They were happy to substitute some mushrooms instead. When my plate came out i had a perfectly cooked medium rare piece of rump steak, two perfectly poached eggs and a large side of fresh fried mushrooms. Everything was nicely seasoned. Keto friendly. Kind service and short wait time. Coffee was also delicious.

I regularly go to Millys for breakfast. Mince on toast. Yummy.

The staff is really nice, the food either. Simple place, open earlier than othee café, free wi-fi. All you need.

We love coming here when we are in Rotorua. Today was no different. Meals were huge and delicious. Staff are friendly and chatty and helpful. Never disappointed when we have come here. Fried noodles were a hit with hubby and my omelette was huge and very filling. Thanks again :-)

Super busy at lunchtime on a Saturday, but well worth the wait. I was excited by the number of gluten free options available.The manager is really kind and friendly.<br/>will come back again and suggest to my friends.

Brought a Grabone voucher for this place. The photos did not look like they were advertised. The meals were disgusting. Corn fritters were burnt, served with two poached eggs and one side of bacon. I was given the wrong steak meal, but after the wait time I wasn't going to give it back, They got my order wrong. Didn't realise I ordered rubber steak and rubber eggs.  I shouted my friends with this deal, I was so embarrassed. Paid extra for hot drinks, given the wrong hot drinks also. Would not recommend. DO NOT BUY THE GRABONE DEAL FOR THIS PLACE! Not worth it!!!

Bought a voucher off GrabOne - $20.00 for buy one/get one free breakfast.<br/><br/>Firstly, no item on the breakfast menu is at or above $20.00 - we both ordered a $15.90 breakfast item. (The most expensive - Steak - was $18.90).<br/><br/>Hot drinks cost me extra.<br/><br/>I ordered the corn, coriander and feta fritters. This came with two poached eggs, one rasher of bacon, a Heinz sachet of Holladaise sauce, a Watties hash brown and two fritters.<br/><br/>The fritters were exactly what you buy from the Fish and Chip shop. They were grey in colour and didn't have a hint of coriander or feta.<br/><br/>When I complained to the staff, I was told they were home-made and was offered an apology.<br/><br/>I definitely would NOT recommend, especially with the prices they charge.

Been here only once but the owner was quick in preparing omelette for us . I must have tried at least 10-15 varities of omelette before coming here however it was quite exceptional in taste . One can grab as many toast with butter/jam with breakfast option which is good selling point there.<br/><br/>Good work  guys :)

Had the steak breakfast, loved the different options for eggs and the steak was cooked to my liking. Loved the option of unlimited toast and spreads would defiantly go back when in Rotorua.<br/>

I found a grabone voucher for this cafe and a group of us decided to go while we were visiting rotorua. I purchased the grabone voucher because the meals in the pictures looked very appealing however when I arrived there the meals that were being eaten by others did not look at all how they did when being advertised. I ordered the corn coriander fritters and when it came out they were burnt with rubbery looking poached eggs and the cheapest looking bacon ever that came out barely even cooked. Not a happy experience.

ORDERED - Eggs on toast, Salmon eggs Bene and bacon pancakes. Eggs on toast does not come with toast.. weird but signage says endless refill on coffee and toast. Mocha's were nice and their fluffy for the kids were just right. Eggs Bene looked odd but tasted nice.. just the eggs overcooked and generally nice place to eat. @Limaono

We dined here yesterday morning around 10:30 am. The owner of the cafe and his staff were nice! The food tasted nice and so did the coffee. My partner and I like how this cafe offers bread and several spreads with all breakfast meals. We were very full and satisfied after dining here for breakfast.

Dreadful. The food turned up within 5 minutes which makes me assume it was all pre-cooked and reheated. Big feed was not big and no flavour. Corn fritters turned up burnt and glutinous. Coffees very average. Not worth the money.

A good little find in Rotorua. No matter whether you want cereal and toast or pancakes or eggs benedict, you can find whatever you want at reasonable prices. Great if you're staying in a hotel and don't want to pay hotel prices for breakfast. Will definitely drop in again next time we stay in Rotorua.

This restaurant is the best that I have ever eaten from. The food is cheap but worth more than $15. I didn't even have to wait too long for the food to arrive at my table. The waiters were also very nice and the food does not taste bad at all. People were happily talking about the food. We kept to ordering but didn't realise the time we had spent eating!

This is our first time in Rotorua and the first breakfast at Milly's All Day Breakfast. Our initial impression is that the decoration inside is so comfortable. We ordered the full breakfast.Its quite big.we felt worthwhile is the toast and jam (free and unlimited). They have added a good variety of meals on the menu.

Went to this Cafe for breakfast, we knew there would be a wait because of the events that were happening in the city at the time and the fact that the cafe was quite busy. Anyway, after ordering my $14 big breakfast we were left to wait for our food. Half an hour later we were starting to wonder whether we were going to be fed, so i went and enquired how far away our food would be, they had forgotten about us and didn't know what we had ordered! to make it worse we had to wait longer only to have one of the waitresses come out and ask if we wanted a refund, HELLO i was hungry they didn't offer anything else. We sat there contemplating for a while and decided that we'd just get a refund because after almost an hour of waiting we were sick of it. Just as we walked in the girl comes out with our food which we didn't mind however, there was only 1 sausage and 2 hash browns (which had been deep fried) 1 piece of cheap bacon and eggs that dripped about a cup of dripping. This was SO not satisfactory for $14. I'll never choose to eat at Milly's cafe Rotorua again the service was bad and the food was worse I will forever remember this sad excuse for a Cafe.
