Such a lovely vineyard, very casual dining with wood fire pizzas and platters. Me and my husband come here at least once a year and we always spend several hours drinking wine, eating, sitting in the sun talking and going for a walk through the vineyard and then through the bush walk. Great place for lunch today. Stunning views and excellent staff to deal with. The kitchen platter and a glass of Rose was just what the doctor ordered. We’ll be back in the summer.

On a trip to the Bay of Islands we visited the ‘Omata Estate Vineyard & Kitchen’, Russell, Bay of Islands which is now firmly at the top of our list of the New Zealand Wineries we have had the pleasure to visit on trips from our home in England, to see our family.

Fantastic Staff Gerben, Shana, Dan looked after us today AMAZING Service, food wine tasting everything was Spectacular. Seafood entree the best. My first time visiting this Gem in Russell will Definitely Recommend to others enjoyed the wine tasting and adored Oscar friendliest Dog 🐕
