Awesome cafe and food. Enjoyed by us all. Nice and warm atmosphere with wood fires. Thanks.
Cute place for your weekend family brunch. While they mostly serve cabinet and easy-to-made food, the food seems to be flavourful and fresh. (Approved by my lil one. She ate most of the smoked fish pie I bought for myself. My other fussy 7y.o. eater liked bacon and kumara quiche.) The staff was supe
Tasty food, very filling. Friendly staff and nice, warm environment.
A most interesting and informative walk through history, using a self guided audio device. There is an excellent licensed cafe as well, with a great food selection, and wonderful service . Congratulations to the owners ,this place should be a "must do" destination.
Beautiful ambience in this lovely cafe. Very rustic, with old tractor seats displayed on the wall, and lots of beautiful timber including roughsawn timber ceilings. We sat in the decking area at the high bar tables, but found the stools a little difficult to climb onto - perhaps not so suitable for
They have great food here. Generous meat portion and fresh cream/cake etc. spacious outdoor sitting available and they have a beautiful kids toy house to play in.
Good food if you need to stop on the State Highway - but the highlight really is the tour of the period historic houses!
A delightful place, the walk around the houses was amazing and so informative. Food and service excellent. I will be visiting again in the near future.
Very friendly. Loved the atmosphere. Yummy food for sure. Good portions.
Worth thr stop, great service n staff n food
Nice surroundings simple menu. Options for children & vegetarians. Plenty of parking. Well worth stopping in. 🙂

We have watched the arrival of extra houses onto the property for several years and were delighted to see the Heritage Walk behind the cafe open. When we finally had a chance to
Lovely people, great service as well as quick. Only blemish was that I ordered scrambled eggs and was given poached. Didn't say anything because they were more than acceptable.
Never disappoints. Called in today for brunch- really busy but we didn’t have to wait long for our food. Fabulous friendly staff, clean , warm and a great atmosphere. Totally recommend.
My choice for a great cafe in the Sanson area. You'll get real, healthy, wholesome food as opposed to meat pies/sausage rolls/greasy food, although they do have meat pies and sausage rolls, just better quality. They also have vegan options and scrumptious flavour combinations for sweet and savory go
I really liked this place. It was the first convenient place to stop that looked lovely and inviting after leaving Wellington. Lots of parking, lots of table, speedy service and fast delivery of food without it compromising on quality. The coffee was good too. Meant we could eat good food and get ba
Stop at The Woolshed Cafe if you can! You won’t regret it. Check out the wild life in the front paddock. Wooly!
Perfect road trip from Wellington stop for breakfast. Fantastic service, great coffee and great breakfasts. The kids breakfast is the perfect size and the eggs bene is awesome.
I was part of a group of 5, with no booking wanting a late lunch. We were welcomed, everything we wanted was available, and it was served without a lengthy wait. The staff were cheerful, and competent. Most importantly the five meals that were served up were well presented, hot, and delicious. It is
