Review World Famous Sheffield Pies- Sheffield - Sheffield

The staff were really nice, very attentive and friendly. They were able to accommodate a table for 7 and a dog without a reservation, which was amazing! The food was really tasty. We had a variety of pies between us, and everyone enjoyed it. The menu accommodates for vegetarians and vegans which is a huge plus. Only slight complain would be that the mash was a bit cold. But overall we really enjoyed it here. The lunch menu deal is a good offer! We'll definitely be going back.

Great service and the food was lovely. Vegan options are on the menu and fairly priced. Would recommend. Pictures are of the vegan chicken and bacon pie with fries and minty mushy peas.

The food is really good. However the service isn’t the best… staff have been a bit funny with us a few times now. Regardless the pie is fab. Would recommend the Sunday deal!!

First time visiting, got the Moolin Rouge as part of the Sunday Best offer where you get any any pie with a Yorkshire pud, little sausage and some pork scratchings. Was very nice! One friend had an issue with the vegan mash but this was resolved quickly and courteously.

Simple but effective, very moorish pies . Not a massive choice or larger and ales, I had a Czechoslovakian larger which was very nice, but possibly not to everyones taste Service was spot on , although I went at a quiet period there was still a funky vibe in a steampunk style atmosphere.

Ordered a tikka pie and realised when I got home that it did not come with an onion Bhaji on top. It’s still very nice but could have been nicer if come complete. I am not a big fan of pies but this Indian inspired pie is a very great addition to the menu. It’s very tasty. There is only one staff member serving the whole place. He had to do literally everything except cooking. He was very nice and I feel sad for him. this branch may be short staffed. He really needs some help.

Was lovely, had the Moo Moo pie which is steak, went for the Sunday roast deal with stuffing. But a lovely welcoming environment and however some staff struggle to crack a smile. But the food- can’t fault it. Amazing for the pie lovers.

Great pies they have! We ordered a Tikka To Ride and a Moolin Rouge, and both tasted great.

Delicious pies at reasonable prices. They didn't have exactly the pie I wanted but had the Free Ranger instead and wasn't disappointed. Their house lager was also decent. My mate had the Tikka To Ride and a side of coleslaw. They said both were stunning. I would definitely recommend this place for casual dates or family meals. One small criticism would be the paper they put under the pies gets soggy and one has to be careful to not eat a piece of it. But that's honestly so minor and the quality of food more than makes up for it.

Great restaurant. The prices here are really good. Unfortunately they are short in quite a few items at the moment, but they had a delicious vegan pie option, which was great for me and my milk intolerance. The waitress was kind enough to explain the menu to me, and seemed genuinely enthused about the vegan options. There was a surprisingly large amount of food, and it was presented nicely. It was quiet when we were there too. I’d definitely recommend it.

Nice comfort food would recommend giving it a try

Ordered wild shroom, asparagus and white wine. Good pies but didn't blew my mind

Oh my word......talk about lush!!! Five old boys wandering round Sheffield having had a beer or two wanted a bite to eat, and didn't we find somewhere great. From the moment we walked in the guys were fantastic. The two waitresses looked after us incredibly well, even charging one of the groups mobile phone, a lovely touch. Despite our jovial approach our musings were dealt with in a suitably sensitive manner and our choice of pie was ordered along with a collection of starters. There was certainly plenty on the menu to choose from. Beer, water and prosseco arrived and soon so did the food. There was plenty to go out, nicely presented and full of flavour. The whole experience was great and I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Amazing, booked our meal for 2pm and there were two members of staff. One behind the counter and preparing the orders whilst the other did the table service and meet/greet. The service by the staff member Enya was top notch and the food was well presented and tasty. Highly recommended

GRANT, GRANT, GRANT. That is all you need to know. What a server, Every request for my wonderful girlfriend's birthday fulfilled with a smile on his face. Dealt with this guy from the initial booking to eating on the day and there is not a single thing I can find fault with the service provided. If this person is not already head server there is an issue here, Wine waiting on the table as requested, also prepared soppy note for my Mrs as I read it out to him what I would like over the phone. Seriously, polite and professional throughout. Not a single request that went unfulfilled despite my (at times) awkward requests. Would give 6 stars if I could. Thanks for a great dinner Grant, if we're ever in Sheff again we'll be at Pieminister for one reason only; you. Absolute lad.
