Review Millwater Bistro & Bar - Silverdale

Adam and the team here must be thanked. Had dinner here and the team were very accommodating and understanding (where possible) with certain dietary requirements we had, as well as being very accommodating of our 1 year old with high chair and food. The food was good, not “fine dining, but still very good. In particular the fried chicken and duck leg. Overall a great experience and would recommend!

Dropped by for quick beer and something nice to eat. I was suggested and served Crumbed Button Mushrooms (vegetarian) by Chef Meet. Simply wonderful. A must try and goes simply amazing with a beer. Courteous staff and great service. I will come here again for a lovely Thursday Wine Dinner ($75 / person). This month they are doing Croatian theme dinner. Check out with them for different theme dinners every month or simply for reservations on 097776008 Clean bathrooms.

Bar atmosphere was pretty good, we tried the Sirloin steak on Sunday which was on special however you're required to buy an alcoholic drink in order to make the most of the special. Friendly staff. I'd recommend coming here at night and get a seat on the balcony. Food I'd say it was average, I've had better steak else where. But if you're very particular with your steak you shouldn't expecting that much. :) maybe try something other than the steak.

Love the food and atmosphere, bit expensive but service was good. Our waiters Oliver and Ella were very kind, will be visiting again soon.

I recently had a birthday and my husband arranged for this beautiful cake to be made my Rohini Jacobs of Millwater Bar and Bistro, it was the most decadent delicious cake, Vanilla with lemon curd filling, super moist and yummy! I gave it 11/10. Super impressive and will definitely order another for anyone special to me.

Wonderful atmosphere, great drinks, and very good food. It's my favorite local place to grab food and a drink. *Editing to add that every Tuesday, Pizzas are buy one get one free. They're great quality and there's a nice variety to choose from.

Nice place and yummy food. Even sometimes medium rare was medium, the tasty is still nice. Recommended for everyone.

We went to the Millwater Bistro & Bar as a party of nine including four kids. The whole experience was delightful. The meals were great and the service was exceptional. As a parent with fussy kids when it comes to food, I was impressed with the kids food options and my children loved the food. They were served before the adults which is such a minor detail but really does make big difference to enjoying our meals. When the waiter could see they were getting a little restless he turn on cartoons. Everyone in the party really enjoyed their meals and the cocktails were great too. We had been to this restaurant a few years back and felt that they didn't cater to children so much. Well I can assure you, this has definitely changed. I recommend a visit - you that you wont be disappointed.

Simply the best food you will find in Auckland. Quality food quality cooking generous portions. And a price that is just unbelievable for what your getting. I have not found any place at this price point that even come close to how great this food is. All I can say is eat here you won't regret it. Well maybe the fact you didn't sooner!

We had the table around the cosy corner which was perfect for our dinner for 2. We had the crumbed calamari and the garlic chili prawns for entree which both were amazing followed by the duck leg. It was the most tender flavorsome duck I have ever eaten. Totally enjoyed our experience and the service was top knotch. Well done!

Went there for a belated 51st Anniversary and Valentines combined celebration. Excellent service , food was fantastic. Such a lovely place . My husband had the duck and I had the pan fried fish. Both were excellent .Great wine list too. Will take my Gregarious Grannies there for our next outing . Only problem was trying to find this place . but glad we persevered . Will definitely call in again when in the neighborhood.

Such an amazing experience at Millwater. When I booked a table, I asked for a special setting for our anniversary. We were welcomed with a smile, even though we were way too early. When we where showed to our table it was more than I could have imagined. Lovely people, excellent service and the dishes? 5 star! I will certainly send all my friends here.

Got some local takeaways tonight from Millwater Bar and Bistro. Needless to say the burgers were phenomenal and there was a hige abundance of fries that came with it. Very friendly staff and excellent service. Looking forward to going back for a nice dinner on their verandah overlooking the fields!!!

Got takeaways to last a couple nights. 2 pizzas , lambshank and Pasta Aribiatta. Also a cheesecake for desert. Was all excellent , really enjoyed the lamb shank and the pasta. Was extremely efficient and the manager very friendly and great to chat too. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back soon.

This place is amazing!! The food is to die for, atmosphere is outstanding & the hosts are awesome. Seriously if you are looking for a relaxed, funky, inviting place to get a nibble & a few bevvies this is the place to go. Highly recommended. Our new local without a doubt ��

Good food and lots of it. Good people as well. We have been before on a few occasions and the standard has never dropped. We easily recommend the Bistro to anybody.

Absolutely amazing ! Had to review while I’m still finishing my dish. Great food! Amazing genuine real service. Pasta of the day was delish and the crispy chicken one of the best I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to come back.

Had an early dinner. Pizza and hot crispy chicken. Both delicious. But certainly the welcome we received was the best. Friendly hosts, lovely setting, huge drinks list. We certainly will be back. But book if you are going at busy times because you may be out of luck for getting a table. This place is taking off. Well done guys!

Food/service/beverages excellent! Couldn't fault it. Love the menu and the extensive wine list. Was well impressed with staff knowledge of the wine. Will become a regular visitor I'm sure. Thanks for a fabulous lunch today! :)

Yum! We had the best pizza we have had in a long time here! Add a refreshing Rosè to go with it and you have a fantastic afternoon in the sun! Thank you to the staff as well who were a pleasure. Will defiantly be back!

We went to celebrate our sons birthday. Had a great meal,delightful Belgium chocolate dessert all served to us by the lovely, very attentive, great sense of humour....Sarah. Highly recommended!! �

Enjoyed a few beers and wines this afternoon , an early dinner before the ABs and have to say the food and service was fantastic ! crumbed mushrooms and calamari were delicious , and pizza was great too , hard to choose between them !

Probably the best service I've ever had! The people who own the place really make you feel welcome :) the "KFC" chicken (hot crispy chicken) is unreal, so yummy! Everything is SO well priced and delicious! If you haven't been, then go :)
