When I visited Ordered Chicken with French fries and Chicken was good as it is but French fries were awesome.Staff were polite and good .

The bucket chicken we bought was hot and crunchy. We asked for and were given four paper plates and cups. The store representative was helpful and friendly. The store was only half full and the table was clean. The wash area is a bit high traffic.

The colnel has done it again with a stellar show up in Silverdale. Fast prompt service on a rainy day with hot chips and fresh chicken every single time. Wash it all down with a Coke and you are good to go

Modern and clean environment, food was served hot and to good standard. Service was friendly and efficient. Parking out front limited to just 5 vehicles though plenty of spaces round the side.

You need to start the home delivery serivces again as the sign board said. I live in orewa and I get pizza delivery from Silverdale store often. Heard Silverdale has new management then this would be a good starting point to employ kiwis as drivers.

Did a decent family meal order thru drive thru on level 2. We then relised a box was missing and one burger did not have cheese. BUT we came back into the shop and they were very kind. We ask for them to remake the whole order due to their mistakes. Very good! Made our night so much better! They even upgraded us to Large chips!

Drive-through was empty. Nice quick service. Chicken fresh and moist

Worst KFC I have ever been to. Rude staff, they missed things out of our order and then we were accused of lying about it. They have also run out of chicken multiple times... enough said.

Staff are pathetic and rude! One guy there was so unfriendly and thought he was that cool I almost jumped over the counter and smacked him over!. The floor is slippery and dirty and the place is generally filthy and all the food is served barely warm . I hate the staff and restaurant and this place needs to be closed down!. I bet the owners are Indian .

This kfc should be shut down undercooked food a serious hygiene problem will never go back again rubbish every where very messy restaurant with very terrible customer service

The staff is getting rude and ridiculous. They close at 10:00 pm on Friday I just arrived 2 mins late and the cleaning staff said I could walk to drive through window to order which open until 12:00 am. I asked because I was driving a scooter instead of a car he said should be fine just walk through.I did so and get refused again by the window and the staff said I cannot walk here and order because it says” drive through” even with scooter, I have to have a car. While the lady said, she was siting on the wait bench, talking with others staffs and looks so relaxed. This is not acceptable as I have been with them for a few years. The staffs need to be well trained otherwise this place is not worth to go anymore.

worst kfc ever!!!! having worked in the fast food industry kfc obviously don't drive for quality the food is old the chips look white due to the amount of salt added even when asked easy on salt its horrid it should be shut down

Been waiting for 20 minutes already, have three other people waiting in front of me and everyone also waiting in the drive thru. Makes me wonder who is actually being served??? Especially where the staff seem to be more concerned with having a good chat to each other than actually doing their job! This seems to be a common complaint from this store. Terrible work flow and poor management.

Website states they’re open until till 11pm but when you get there at 10.30pm they can only serve you chicken (and only what’s left, so not fresh), thank god McDs in Orewa make their serve menu even just before closing.

What was ordered: Aioli Bacon Burger + Zinger Burger <br/>1. I wanted two aioli bacon burgers and wanted to make one a stacker (this means adding an extra chicken fillet) was then told that they "couldn't do it, but you can buy the extra fillet and add it yourself" WHY?<br/>2. Hair inside the mayonnaise on the zinger burger<br/>3. Undercooked or not cooked at all bacon on the aioli bacon burger<br/>4. Undercooked and unseasoned fries<br/>5. Watery Coke<br/>6. Young untrained staff - who despite doing their best are not able to cope with how busy the restaurant/drive through gets...<br/><br/>What is worse is that I was given a receipt stating to let them know how the experience was and I told KFC silverdale all of the above... I've never heard back from them. So disgusted and disappointed.<br/><br/>Customer Service: 0/10<br/>Food: 0/10<br/>Atmosphere: 1/10

We took a drive to Silverdale which happens around every 4-6 weeks. So we decided on lunch at the Silverdale KFC.  Looked around the place and all tables were dirty, food on floo,r entrance dirty from people's work boots, service slow and long wait for food!!That is as honest a summary as you will get!! Needless to say I won't be back anytime soon!!In fact the place was not busy at all, so no excuse at all not to clean the place!!

This KFC is the worst and unfortunately it is the closest one to us. Wait times in the evenings 30 minutes or more sometimes we drive to Albany as the food standard & service tends to be better. Ordered a family meal from the drive thru & half of the chicken was missing??

KFC Silverdale is one of the most slowest takeouts. <br/>The food standard is ok, but the service level is by far worst. <br/><br/>When Silverdale KFC gets busy, especially in the weekends, they use a vehicle to block the drive thru, as they cannot manage the busy rush. Then you wait for nearly 30min minimum for your food. <br/><br/>I went last week on a slower day & I wanted to add on a krusher drink to my order the young lady at the drive thru advise with rude tone they are not making krushers, so i assumed maybe the machine has broken down, so I asked her? She confirmed the machine is not broken they have just decided they are not making any for the day. With no valid reason given, I felt again disappointed at KFC Silverdale. <br/><br/>At the end of the day, I think it comes down to lack of training and poor management. <br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>

I don't understand where all these negative posts are coming from. I've recently had their food and it was good. The waiting time wasn't long and the place was spotless. If there were these problems before, they've certainly made an effort to get it together. Staff was approachable and cleanly dressed. I'll come to this KFC again for sure

It is actually quicker to drive to Albany for your KFC fix, than it is to wait the 40 minutes it often takes to get served in the drive-through at Silverdale KFC. Anyone can get caught out on a busy day, but this KFC seem to consistently not have enough staff on. Probably time for head office to step in and sort it out.<br/><br/>Previous review: Came to get a takeaway dinner for the family. The drive-through was quite busy and there was a wait of about 10 minuets before we placed our order. When we drove around the corner there was only one service window open. Luckily there were plenty of Pokemon in the area to entertain us while we waited.<br/><br/>We ordered a colonels dinner, replacing the potato & gravy with coleslaw and adding a side of bean salad in an attempt to make the meal slightly healthier. This came to $29.40.<br/><br/>Some of the chicken was a bit dry and the chips were only Luke warm, by the time we got home. <br/><br/>The bean salad was surprisingly yummy.

The service is absolutely abysmal. I'm an extremely patient woman, hell , make me wait ages and I won't complain. I know what it's like. But the crew are do rude! <br/><br/>As far as food goes, the spicy coated things are nice and moist and crispy! But anything else is greasy to the absolute maximum. I've kept to ordering only spicy things as they feel fresh.

KFC Silverdale really is the pits; I really don't know how hard it is to get orders correct, or cook and keep food hot/fresh. Stale old buns and greasy chicken.  Horrible.  Nothing like the KFC of old, where it was properly drained and well made meals... especially considering the cost.  Not a fan of this Silverdale branch.

This KFC, is relatively new and yet the service is poor, the food is average compared to other KFC stores. For the only KFC on the hibiscus coast, we have no choice but to suffer their poor standards, otherwise it's a drive to Albany!

For once the chips here were hot and the burger wasn't as bad as usual I feel however this was due to the KFC corporates who were there checking over the store so the staff were being kept on their toes so I would say the fresh hot chip thing is a one off, there is a school sign suggesting alot of kids come here to eat and drink at KFC so when the music they had playing on the TV started playing rap music with swearing and inappropriate images of adults I was abit concerned as KFC is after all meant to be a family friendly restaurant. So overall I think the place was tidy the toilets were clean and the chips were for once hot with a good amount of salt, the friendly service was abit forced mainly due to the big bosses being there checking up on everything so yeah not too bad for KFC'S standards. Also they have deployed a kinect type imaging camera for security which is pretty neat. There were about 4 or 5 wet floor prisms deployed although the floor was as dry as gordon Ramsay's jokes.

As always, my burger was cold and, minimum amount of sauce!!!! Will not come here again!!!!! It wasnt busy at all. Third bad experience at this Kfc.

I'll start off by saying that this is the cleanest KFC I've ever been to, but that was the only positive to our visit. <br/><br/>We arrived at a very quiet time of the day but we were left waiting over 30 minutes for our order (Zinger burger and wicked wings pack). Although there was plenty of staff, they seemed to only concentrate on their drive through customers. <br/><br/>We were told they had simply forgot about us when we asked. No apology.<br/><br/>The food was standard, so no complaints there but the long wait left us in a sour mood. I hope this is a rare occurrence for this outlet. I will certainly order drive through if I come back.

Dirty floors and seats and slow service because they prioritize the drive thru. Order dine in and they still give it to you in a bag. Chips were old and didn't even have a spoon to eat the gravy. This place has gone down hill since it opened.
