What a lovely lunch we just had. The team is really welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious. Great menu with good varied options. The place looks mint giving it a great atmosphere. We'll be back!!

Had a lovely dinner while we we're visiting the area. Nice quiet atmosphere with great customer service. The mains are decently portioned, I had steak and my partner had the slow cooker lamb. We both enjoyed the salad, well seasoned. My boyfriend did enjoy his meal very much, but wished there were more bread served. I had no issues with my steak, I had it with some lovely potato chips. Would recommend this restaurant for dinner instead of driving to Matakana, if you want something nice in the Snell's Beach area.

Had a very nice meal with my wife, i had seafood chowder and calamari, my wife had the beef cheek. All delicious, and melt in your mouth, no chewy calamari here!! The service was frindly and efficient, and the venue is cosy and comfortable. We'll definately go back.

Table of 4 and we all had beautiful meals, our waitress was very good. A very busy night but the waitresses need more training, e.g. need trays for the bar instead of delivering one glass at a time to tables and then back clearing of tables as they walk past. We have been twice and both times excellent food and we will be back.

My Mum & I enjoyed a lovely lunch here today, both having corn fritters with bacon & brie.... Delicious and nicely served, great coffee too

So Amazing love the service always come in on a Sunday the front of house staff are spectacular and the kitchen produce the most amazing meals I’ve ever had definitely recommend this place to anyone who is visiting or lives around the area of Snells Beach

Amazing Pasta and Pizzas. Great local service that is value for money. The chicken fettuccine is a favourite! Also the mushroom fungi is Amazing! Very large pizzas so make sure you have enough mouths :)

Have eaten at Chairs twice in the last week. Cabinet food very lacking in presentation and was not at all tempting!<br/>Had the Eggs Benedict from the Menu and it was generously adorned with bacon and mushrooms so I was very happy! My friends struggled to find anything they <br/>liked so had a cake/muffin. Staff not very friendly which nearly had us going next door to other cafe (their smoothie machine wasn’t working). The staff at Chairs were extremely slow to clear tables to the point customers put multiple dirty dishes on other tables themselves, others went next door. A real shame as this place could be a local gem...<br/>

Vegetarian meal was a bunch of Veges with sauce smothered on top and lambs fry had a scary tang to it which made me worry it was off. Read well on campground booklet but felt it over promised and under delivered. Maybe breakfasts are better.

Great value breakfast, huge for the price. Friendly. staff and good coffee. Just visiting, but would definitely visit if I'm in town again. Definitely recommend

Great local cafe in Snells. It was our first find and is now our go to for weekend breakfasts and a local night out. We love being able to take our dog who is always welcome and they always cater for me being gluten free.

As fairly new residents of Snells we are proud to say we have made Chairs café and bar our favourite place. Staff are always friendly and the food perfect. Great atmosphere and we always take our visitors there for a great meal.Ideal for a coffee and muffin when looking for a break in your day. Awesome.

Worst place in snellsbeach. Constantly providing poor service. Today the cooks have gone to watch a rugby game and no provision was made to get a substitute. Was looking forward to a nice lunch. Ha ha i can have hot chips and thats about it.

This is a place I will gladly take the 45 min trip to visit from Auckland. The food is good and freshly made. Very good portions and a good selection of food. The staff is friendly and efficient. Also clean and tidy<br/>If ever in the area I will call in! Their pizza's yum yum!

What you see is what you get. Well priced mains, good serving sizes, good old fashioned food like your Mum would cook. We had a group of 8 (and there was another similar sized group there) and they managed us well with only the delay you might expect with a big group from a full a la carte menu. Service is a little unfriendly but trying hard. Pork belly was excellent. If you don't want to head into the big smoke this is worth a visit. @<br/>

Have eaten here for breakfast and lunch and absolutely love the food, great local café, friendly with quality tasty meals. Had Snapper breakfast, and seafood salad at lunch. Great options for those looking to be good while eating out. Looking forward to trying dinner. Pot of tea is a great size too.

We found the service to be ok with the meals being priced to meet the market. I had the steak special which was fine but would not set the world on fire. The batter on my partners fish was a little under cooked.<br/><br/>Won't race back.<br/><br/>Have to eat my words, went back for a birthday celebration. The beef burger and pork belly were fantastic.

Overall, extremely disappointing. The service was very slow even when it wasn't particularly busy, the coffee wasn't drinkable and the barista seemed more concerned with chatting to the locals than getting coffees out. Our scrambled eggs also came out on a burger bun - assume that they ran out of bread, but no one explained or apologised. The venue is in a decent location and has a nice covered deck, but we won't be going back.

On a value for $ rating out of 10 they have to rate at least 8. Couple this with the fabulous service and relaxed atmosphere and you have to go back for a second visit (and third)
