Masala Bay - Stratford - Photo album

Called in for a take away. Food did not disappoint, full of flavor and the hot spice level had a good kick. Would recommend and will be going back
The meal we had from your restaurant last weekend (22 September) was beautiful...and we had it brought up from Stratford to New Plymouth
Love this place, very friendly staff, great food (more than 2 pieces of meat in the sauce lol), great atmosphere.
We had such a great lunch here. We each took the (vegetarian) lunch special which includes a curry, naan bread & rice for 10$. Portion size was really good! The food tasted pretty fresh, especially the naan. The waiter was friendly and even came to ask us about our meal, which is plus points for us.
All the way from Auckland and there aren’t many place to dine out in stratford but I have come across this little Indian restaurant and service is quick polite food is amazing and authentic perfect and the atmosphere is wonderful highly recommend this place if your around the taranaki region stop in
The Food Quality & Service are Top Class.
Great food and great service friendly staff
Good food however $12:50 for a single rum and coke is far too expensive. Menu states single spirits arei $8. No mention that can of coke is $4.50 on top.
5 stars for not holding back on the spice! First place I’ve been to that offers a multiplier on the Indian Hot. Will be back for the x10!
On the way to New Plymouth from Mount Taranaki scenic viewing spots and walks, stopped here for a break. The manager on duty, Gopal Dutt Joshi made sure we were well taken care of. Happy with Onion Bhajias and Samosas, made to suit our taste. Where one is served with a smile, the experience goes so
Had a takeaway of just mains and bread but it was very tasty. Nice level of spices so you could actually taste the food. And good value too.
Best Indian food in New Zealand 🇳🇿
The staff are very nice and the food is not hot on request. I had the butter chicken, I Would definitely love to return and try some more. The papadums and nan are very good too
decor nothing flash but friendly service and really delicious food!! Beef madras was so tasty, naan was light and buttery and the rice cooked perfectly. Tried the Indian masala tea too which was a delicious surprise! Lovely staff too! We arrived when the front staff member had stepped out for a mome
