Review Soul Cafe - Taihape

Not a bad place for a quick lunch but could be better. We stopped there on our road trip across North NZ. Didn’t like how eggs Benedict were prepared, bacon wasn’t tasty at all. Staff were very nice. They also have tables outside.

Never disappoints! Always stop here when travelling through Taihape. Eggs Benedict with bacon was delicious loads of hollindaise sauce, great coffee too. Very friendly staff.

Best breakfast croissant I've had all year. Even included a side salad, which i wasn't expecting. Fast and friendly service. Will be back.

The best Seafood Chowder full of goodies served with garlic bread. Also very yummy homemade carrots cake. The girls in this Cafe know how to cook!

Warm and cosy cafe with a perfect banana smoothie and delicious food! Great portion sizes for the price! Well worth stopping for!

Drove from Welly to Taupo yesterday and had researched a brekkie stop before leaving. Stopped here based on past reviews, and I wasn't disappointed. The eggs bennie was great, plenty of ingredients, well-cooked and piping hot. Won't hesitate to stop here again next month when I head up the mountain.

Great Food and Fast and Friendly Service. Highly recommend this Restaurant. It is a most needed stop if you are travelling in this area.

Was cold inside the Cafe. Log fire not going due to lack of firewood (in the middle of winter). The food was very good 👌

Soul cafe never disappoints, friendly courteous staff, delicious food and the perfect way to start or end a trip to Taupo. They have a set menu but are quite happy to alternate the selection. This mornings poached eggs, bacon and sausage hansomly accompanied with creamy mushrooms. Topped of with a hot chocolate. Thanks Soul.

Amazing staff in there! Served wondefully by Brooky she is a real asset to that store! The hospitality was outstanding! Real homely vibe beautiful coffee from Brooky, will definitely stop here again and again!

Staff were lovely, the slices made in house-to DIE for. Highly recommend 😀 Went back as we were going through on Friday and had one of the best sausage rolls!!

I had the French toast here and was blown away by the size of the meal (I couldn't finish it!) and how delicious it was. I'd usually select a savoury dish but fancied a change and I wasn't disappointed, truly delicious!

The people and the food were awesome. Lovely spot.
