This ticks all the boxes of a steakhouse. Dry aged steak done to perfection. Service was great. Nothing better in the Rangitikei as far as I am concerned. Service was good. Would suggest booking in advance. They were busy when we were there.

Highly recommend the Taihape one, but the Waiouru one is pretty good too.

Highly recommended! We stopped here on our way to Wellington by chance for lunch. The food was very good. The 12h braised pork ribs were so tender and the sauce and apple mousse was very yummy. The atmosphere was super cosy with an oven and sweet decorations. Waitors were friendly. Look no further ☺
Just found another gem. Classic older build outside, wonderful restaurant inside. Great service from the girls and then you get your meal. ✔✔✔ Whether you have been in town for a function or are passing through I recommend stopping here.

Had dinner here on the way to Rotorua. Absolutely loved it. One of the best steaks I've ever eaten. Thoroughly recommend the steak served on the hot stone.
