Great place for coffee and a good breakfast. Best Americano I’ve had in New Zealand. Lovely atmosphere inside. Has plenty of tables in side as well as a few outside. Bathroom has a baby changing station. Staff are helpful and friendly,

Super nice coffee to stop! Dessert are amazing! Wanted to try all of them… my belly wasn’t really happy ^^’ Let’s go for them, don’t hesitate to ask for a bit more cream on them! And enjoy 🔅

This cafe is in an old cinema and opens nice and early at 7.30 so thanks for that. Excellent breakfast poached eggs and bacon and the coffee is good too. Please ask your customer before putting anything green on a breakfast! Friendly service this Wednesday morning, thanks!

Had the best ever gluten free banana and chocolate muffin here, with my coffee. Great cafe, with plenty of food options, cabinet and menu. Plenty of seating indoors and out. Service great, coffee great too. We always visit when in Takaka!!

We headed over to Takaka after some recent heavy rain, very wary that the road had been closed the day before. The local cleanup services had done an amazing job, so we were able to traverse the hill safely to visit my neice and take her out for lunch! What better place to go! Such a wide range of food, prepared and cooked with love and care. There were four of us dining, and we were served quickly, and with gusto! There is plenty of outdoor seating, and if the weather is a little rough, lots of inside seating also. We chose a table upstairs, under the watchful eyes of Norma Jean, Bob Dylan and James Dean. I had a bit of a sweet tooth, so ordered the waffles with bacon and bananas. The waffles were light and fluffy, fresh and crispy on the outside while nice and cakey inside. The bacon was crisp and complimented the sliced bananas perfectly. My neice had the eggs bene, and this was nice, although I think the eggs were very slightly overdone, but then again, I like my eggs very runny and this is a personal preference. Another diner with us had the grilled fish, this was very good, and was cooked well. The venue is rustic but very clean and comfortable. They even had a special exit for this old hippy! Get out of the rat race and give this place a go!

Friendly staff, tasty coffee and beautiful atmosphere. You can sit inside or outside, the Café is pretty big and at the front you can find awesome fresh made ice-cream. Try the dirty chai as they make their own chai tea there :)

I've been there several times. The space is really nice. Good food and coffee. You should go there. It is very much a Takaka icon. Centrally located.

The Brisket panini was awesome. Super tasty meat with tasty extra filling. Latte was just perfect. And fast service. The icing on the cake for me was, when they asked were I would be sitting, I said somewhere warm I hope. And he directed me to a table directly beneath one of the many infrared heaters. So big thumbs up the that, thank you.
