Review Blind Basket - Takapuna

It's basically a perfect cafe. The menu is varied so that adults and children can enjoy together, and the friendliness of the staff and cleanliness of the cafe stands out. Foods that can be enjoyed with fusion are equally delicious and there is something quite unique and special about this cafe compared to others which is spectacular. I will definitely be going to this place again as it met all my standards and if I'm being honest, there really isn't anything wrong with this place as it has a nice vibe and comfortable atmosphere.

We came here for lunch and ordered a couple of burgers and some coffee. I love the coffee, very nice latte art and tasted great. The burgers were also quite tasty, though I feel like there wasn't enough meat (in this case chicken and crab) to it. Would be keen to come back and try the other dishes though.

Fast service, attentive staff, very nice coffee. Eggs benny was very nice. Cool coffee art on the pour. Will be back!

MY FAVOURITE CAFE. THE OMINIYAKE OMELETTE AND SUPER BROWN SHAKE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST. If I could afford this everyday I would order this every day and never get sick of it. Always fresh and tastes like no place else. The staff are extra friendly and always know to make my husbands coffee just warm and not too hot. Love this place. Great vibes and food 👌👌

For around 5 years while I was working next door, this was my go to place for breakfast. Triple shot cappuccino and almond croissant (or cinnamon roll in case the latter was unavailable). Judy and Luke offers the most exceptional customer service and create a fantastic environment here often with great mellow yet uplifting music (I’ve shazammed here a bunch of times). Parking is a challenge but that’s beyond their control. The kitchen produces salads, sushi and pastry based food and my absolute favorite is the chicken and mushroom filo pastry. Even though I don’t work there anymore, I stíll visit to relive the experiences of the good old days.

This place is such a gem. If you're in takapuna, you have to visit this place. Unique menu, great service. Amazing food. So delicious. Nice selection of drinks. Will definitely come back

Very nice breakfast spot! The servers were friendly and food came out quickly! Parking is a PITA as others have mentioned but we’ll worth the extra hassle!

Stylish café with a sophisticated, yet welcoming appeal. Great range of food to complement the coffees. It's difficult to find nearby parking space, but that'd be quibbling.

Wow! The food is sublime and the coffee is spectacular. These guys obviously take care in cleaning their coffee machine regularly. The place is spotless and offers such a relaxed atmosphere. I was last her a year ago (which was amazing) and once again today, the food and service is as excellent as before. Consistency of quality and customer focussed service makes for a completely enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend the blind basket every time.

Discovered this little gem on recommendation via a colleague. Cute little cafe with incredible coffee and delicious cabinet food. Have visited two days in a row now and the service is friendly, welcoming and on point. The sushi is epic :)

Stopped at Blind Basket this morning on my way to work, service was super fast and friendly. I have my favourite coffee stop on the way to work but I think I just found my new favourite. Coffee was great spot on, I also grab a cheese scone, wow it was the best cheese scone I’ve had, light and super airy and fluffy. Delicious flavours. Will definitely be back tomorrow.

One of my favorite go-to cafe's in the shore! Their ice latte's are one of the best i've tried in a while. Consistent, Creamy & just the perfect blend. I have tried the hot coffee and unfortunately they are quite average, I have not tried the food but the place is vibe, fairly priced & definitely worth a try

This is my go-to working cafe. The wifi always connects instantly to my devices. Coffee and brekkies are great. Loads of space for working and meetings.
