Love the chicken panini, the food was really good. High quality for a cafe. Price was friendly as it is located inside takapuna mall so kinda expected that. Coffee was amazing, although there are lot of comments saying that they have “hygiene problems” i think they have gone better in terms of cleaning and using gloves etc etc overall nice experience, will come back for the food.

The coffee was a bit insipid for my taste. The sausage roll was quite tasty but for $6 for a basic roll, you'd expect so. Service was friendly. Hygiene is questionable though: I had to swap my cutlery twice before finding some that were clean.

The shop has been undergoing redecoration, the place looks awesome. The food was very nice (Bacon Mushroom Quiche was amazing). The coffee is the best I've had in the shore, staff are friendly and gave me a very good impression. Would visit again!!!

I don't think I can expect too much from a shopping mall cafe. This one serves good salmon quiche and sausage rolls. It's better than the food court downstairs. I agree with other reviewers that some of their staff show poor hygiene practice when handling cash and then handling food. Just a simple tip, I make sure that they use tongs when handling my food, which was then put into the microwave. Never got food poisoned there (touch wood). Always a good resting place after a long period of shopping.

I had a Turkish beef sandwich here and I liked it. It was nice. But our table was quite greasy. And there was a bucket in the middle of the restaurant. One of those that you mop the floor with! It was surprising!

Without doubt the worst cafe I have ever been to . It is dirty and the food hygiene is awful staff handle cash then straight after food . The food is awful and stale some of it days old , they charge for putting butter on scones !!!<br/>Coffee is like dishwater <br/>Staff are rude as hell <br/>Save your money

I use to go here alot and lately these guys have dropped the ball on their coffee I think. Food is still nicely presented and still love that tangy lemon slice =)

What a disgusting place. I wish I had read the reviews before trying their coffee. Most of the tables were filled with dirty plates and empty bottles. They wouldn't even clean ours after serving us.<br/><br/>And our coffee came with half a napkin with the logo torn off. Seriously, how much does a whole napkin cost? Or does that only come with an extra large drink?<br/><br/>Don't get me started on the quality of the "coffee". I threw their loyalty card. Not going back.

This place is filthy no one bothers to clean the tables or I suspect the dishes. Service is terrible and hygiene is worse.<br/><br/>Slices are good, but food I had tasted like it had been in the cabinet for days.

It was lunchtime and I wanted to buy a toasted sandwich. The girl serving said that they had run out of bread. I couldn't believe it. She didnt offer any appology. She should of said that they would buy some bread from the supermarket downstairs. I am sure I wasn't the only one wanting a toasted sandwich!!

I was very impressed with both the food and prices. I live in Manurewa and was in Glenfield to do with work. I found the service good, but it was definitely the quality and price of the food that won me over. I wish we had a Cafe Etage in south auckland.
