Went to the Katapuna Beach the other day and saw this restaurant on our way back to the city. We were craving Chinese food so we ordered the pork buns and the duck pancakes. We especially loved the duck pancakes and its fillings! Service was quick and the portions were generous too.

A must try restaurant in Takapuna, crew are hospitable and food serving is great. I recommend the fried rice special and the angus beef, the angus beef is so soft even in a well done tenderness! would probably go back again.

Very nice and fresh oysters. The dishes are Chinese and quite refined in terms of flavours and umami. I enjoyed the selection of ingredients and various offerings at this restaurant, including a very tasty local lager.
Wow what a great find this restaurant is. Excellent staff. Upstairs outdoor seating on a nice summer evening. Every dish of food was so very tasty. Hard to say which I liked best. We tried 5 of the chefs recommended dishes. The wok fried chips were excellent as was the Bak Choy with mushrooms.

The best Chinese food I've ever had. No18 rocked me. Never had anything like that before. Literal flavor bomb, no hype. Came back next night for 17, very good, beef cooked perfectly it fell apart in my mouth. Great value for the quality of food you get. My favorite place in takapuna, been here 3wks
