Herbs in the food were a bit heavy handed. Coffee's were Luke warm and tasted burnt beans. Lemon crumble slice was really nice. Loaded fries were great.

What a great stop, full of hidden surprises. And if I could give them award for best Toasted Sandwich in New Zealand, they would come first. Perfectly toasted, perfectly seasoned. Great smiles, great service. Lots of hidden treasures even if Tulips are not in season. Worth the drive.

Just stopped in for coffee as we were passing through town. Coffee good. We didn't eat but the food looked good. Staff were friendly.

On our recent Sth Island journey came across Illys cafe, great coffee , beautiful food, made by people passionate about what they do.. A pleasure to have been there. Tapanui such beautiful countryside.
Love the way you can select your breakfast to your liking, rather than have a set meal and have to add or substitute. Chai Latte was very good and large is definitely large.
Stopped here for brunch on a Thursday and was pretty quiet the only thing holding this place back from a 5 star was the food being abit on the meh side (we only had cheese rolls and the venison and blueberry pie).
