Stunning spot on the awa. The cafe and shop produce fantastic products so worth stopping even if the Lavender are not blooming. Find the trail to take a walk down the 129 steps to the River to get a unique perspective from the canoe landing place. Wonderful hosts.

Amazing stop on the Forgotten World Highway. The owner was really nice and made really great coffee. It's the perfect spot to stop and relax and enjoy the amazing lavender fields. It's so peaceful.

A nice little place with beautiful lavender farm, a cafe and a shop. A short walk leads to the river - worth the effort. Great photo opportunities!

Would be 6 stars of there were 6. Obviously this is a beautiful location with the rows of lavender. But the cherry on top for me is the awesome hosts that are super friendly and accommodating. Will be back again next time

Lovely location and the lavender fields and lavender products are devine. We really enjoyed the scones, muffins & coffee too. The staff are friendly & the atmosphere is very relaxing. We'll definitely be back & would recommend a stopover to check the place out for yourself.

The most charming place. We stopped while we were doing the Whanganui river journey - the lattes and muffins were the highlight of that day! The woman that runs it was so welcoming and friendly. Want to come back and take my mum!

Lauren's Lavender Farm is an absolute delight, treat and an out of this world place. The depth of the colour if her lavender is spectacular, the fragrance will catch you as you drive in.... you could spend hours and hours here just watching, breathing, connecting and relaxing. A must see.

We arrived here just as they were closing up but they allowed us in for a drink and quick browse through the shop. Incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts. The cafe & farm is a beautiful place and we are keen to return to spend longer there!

This was a beautiful spot to stop at after travelling the Forgotten Highway from Whangamomona. The two ladies running the cafe were lovely and very friendly. The coffee and scones were delicious. Loved being able to buy some treats from the lavender shop.

Very pretty place with a nice cafe and shop with everything lavender, a nice short but steep walk down to the river

Cosy shop & cafe surrounded by beautifully landscaped lavender. They serve rich & creamy hot chocolate.

Lovely place to stop to see the lavender but even when it isn't blooming, still a good stop for coffee and cake. And their scones are served with TWO pats of butter!

Beside the Whanganui River, Lauren's Lavender Garden has yummy scones, cakes, gift shop and divine lavender smells. My mum loved it!

Great place to stop over and relax. The ambience is excellent, staff are friendly and accommodating and the cafe serves delightful muffins. We gave it a 4-star as it could improve more such as, letting visitors walk through some parts of the fields for photo taking and lavender picking. In a nutshell, we love the place and would definitely come back in the future.

What a wonderful place Lauren's Lavender is to visit! The gardens are beautiful, with more than lavender - there are lovely hydrangeas and many other things. It's a lovely place for a coffee and my favourite treat of a savoury scone. Great range of lavender products in the shop too. For the slightly fitter, there's a also great short track down to view the Whanganui River. Lorraine and Kasey are friendly and efficient, and so passionate about their locality, it's always such a delight to visit!
