Correct asian food for correct prices. Some of the pieces were a bit dry. There are a few tables outside and inside as well.
I'm not a sushi lover at all, but my lunch at this place changed my mind. I actually went to Thai restaurant but decided to give sushi a chance and, omg, it was one of the best decisions of the dayš
So many options to choose,veges, chiken, calamari, just impressing size, price and tasteš¤¤I guess everyone can find something. I don't like a dry seaweed taste, but I still could enjoy niguiri, fried fish balls and bbq tuna sushi, highly recommended this placešthe queue was endless during lunch time, so be ready to wait a bitššš
Self serve sushi restaurant. Decently priced, free wasabi and ginger at the cashier. The sushi was too sweet for my taste, but it's Americanized sushi so the sweetness is normal. Seating is fairly limited but you have the option of taking the food away in a plastic container. Everything is disposable except for the plates.
Fantastic selection of sushi, both hot and cold. Labelled well and presented beautifully. Self service was great and staff were friendly and welcoming. Lovely place to eat. Clean and tidy shop. Definitely will be back when we pass through Taupo again.
Great spot for sushi, stopped on the way through and was pleasantly surprised by how yummy it was. Each item I chose, which there was a good selection from, I thought was good quality. Would definitely go back.
If you like sushi, this place is a MUST, great value for money, low prices and lots of ingredients on each piece. Great for travelers on budget if you are craving for sushi. Staff is very nice, you can eat there or take away. Lots of different options, beef, chicken, salmon, veggie etc... Iāll be back everytime I want sushi. Go early if you want to try all the different options, is so good that everything will be gone before closing
I was wanting to take a Sashimi Tuna Platter to a function and I knew Taupo had a few Sushi places.
To my surprise i only manage to find two.
The first one was too expensive for 9 pieces.
Then I found this place Suncourt Sushi.
I was so happy when the lady said yes we can and their prices were reasonable.
I got my Tuna Sashimi Platter it looked so pretty on the plate and I got a little extra it made my day I definitely would recommend this place to anyone thank you.
This place is dangerously good, What I mean by dangerous is that every piece that they sell is so good that i literally pack my container up with NO CARE about the price, Itās so good that when I look at the -$30 sun court sushi in my bank account I donāt even mind. EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS, A personal thing about me is that I LOVE MAYO WITH ALL MY HEART and lucky for me + everyone who loves mayo too, they have a self serve mayo + A SPECIAL SAUCE. Sorry suncourt sushi Iām the reason you always run out of mayo BUT ITS SO PERFECT AND DELICIOUS. Hereās some advice when you come here, if it looks good but youāve never tried it GET IT, Unfortunately i done this and now I have 10 more sushiās I put into my container because theyāre just to good . THANK YOU SUNCOURT SUSHI, Everytime I come here we go straight to the lake front and demolish our sushi, And every single time even tho itās hundreds of times, I canāt wait to go back. Affordable and delicious, stopped off on a whim after walking past it many times and I am definitely going back! I wish they were open later Iād be there all the time!
