Recommend best Cafe in Taupo for crepes. Can't remember which one I had, but it was about $14/$16, had pear/apple and strawberry in it, with a caramel swirl on top, but yeah, that was quite nice. Felt it should have been more crispier ( it tasted a little runny/wet, and a little more sugar too. But

Stir cafe is located down the marina, so can get busy but a fantastic location to enjoy the best of Taupo
Good wee caravan cafe - lovely position near boat Harbour. Great coffee and tastiest. A few tables - mainly takeaway. Brilliant.
Great location and really yum full toasted sandwiches. We had ham cheese and pineapple.. just basic but was delicious.. well worth the money.
We heard of Stir often.. but had brunch there today with family.. incredible sweet as well as savoury crepes plus toasted sandwiches.. fries..and superb coffees.. it has be our ‘go to’ place now.. many many thanks…

I just had a long black and my wife a green tea with a big biscuit. Our two friends had drinks and muffins. All were very good and we sat at a table in the sun and chatted. Not usual in a taupo winter! Most enjoyable. Next time I will save my appetite for a meat pie.

We love this place. Toasted sandwiches to die for. The lovely ambiance, sitting and watching boats and people coming and going, relaxing with great coffee. Top place.
This was a lovely cafe for a quick stop. The food was excellent with a great variety of food. Will always stop there

Nothing is better than a great coffee . Sunshine and Fresh Air to drink it.

Very good cappuccino, good bean coffee, great service, good price as well.
We all got the banana and caramel crepes which are served with a very generous amount of cream and a great portion altogether. Caramel sauce tastes homemade too, and the coffee is perfect. This will be a regular when we come to Taupo along with Paulys Diner and The Brantry. Thank you ladies
