Review Prime Roast - Taupo

Excellent roast pork! The meat is juicy & tender, and the skin is crispy. Comes with apple sauce. Lamp with mint sauce is good too but pork is nicer! Nice warm food in cold night. Staff is also friendly and helpful. The set comes with meat of your choice, roasted whole potato (soft inside & crispy outside), green beans, kumara (sweet potato) and pumpkin. You can also choose the vege you want or don't want. Nice food, friendly stafd, nicemusic and ambience, I am completely satisfied after a long drive!

Absolutely best roast place I've been too ever!! I've traveled the world and this is by far outstanding! Food is amazing. Best value for money. We dined in for first time there after making a special trip back there whilst on holiday and the service was excellent. Staff so friendly. We went there 2 nights in one week we loved it that much. 5 star. If only they were closer but we will be back eveytime we are on holiday there.

This place is absolutely fantastic food is nicely priced portions are good enuff for a big moariboy eater.and food very tasty. But really need to HEAT PLATE UP FIRST my cold plate made my food cold faster so please start heating plates before you dish food.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Prime Roast and was thoroughly impressed with my meal. The lamb and pork were cooked to perfection - juicy, tender and bursting with flavour. The meats were certainly the highlight of the meal and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a delicious meaty meal. The gravy served with the meats was also quite flavourful and complemented the meats well. However, the carrots were a bit of a let down. It seemed like they had been left in the warmer for too long and were overcooked. This was a bit disappointing, but it did not take away from the overall experience. The portion sizes were incredibly generous and I left feeling completely satisfied. The prices were also reasonable considering the high quality of food that was served. Overall, I would highly recommend Prime Roast for their amazing lamb and pork dishes. Although the carrots could use some improvement, the delicious meats and flavourful gravy make it worth a visit. I give Prime Roast 4.5 stars!

The shop is always clean, the service is always friendly fast and efficient. The food is definitely worth the price. And it's so filling with so many different options for roasts not just pork but beef and chicken too.

Tasty roast meal with no frills dining at a very reasonable price, doesn’t include tourist tax like many other Taupo restaurants.

Great owners and lovely food for the price point,affordable quality. Prime roast is a franchise and i believe this store in particular is one of the best if not the best in the country. Thank you, keep the personal standards high.

Food was great, prices are decent and their rolls are so delicious and fresh tasting. Like a roast in a French stick.

Love there meals But last time we asked for 1 gravy 1 apple .repeated several times they still mucked it up.
