Best pub in Taupō EASILY the vibes are amazing, the whole team are friendly and nice and clean up Quick!! Pub quiz is always a blast and a great place to get a pint and play pool. Smoking area in the back is always chill and there nothing netter than the chips when you’re already tipsy. Seriously better than any irish pub in america too! And the owner is the best !!

We really liked this little pub. We were the only people in there to begin with, but it started filling up quick once it got closer to the band starting.
Service was great from both people working the bar. Gave some left over St Paddy's day stickers to our kids. Food was delicious! Reasonably priced.
Great atmosphere.

The new outdoor area is an amazing place to spend your summer arvo.. great selection of whiskeys and other top shelf drinks, has pool tables out back and live music alot. Definitely a place to check out.

This was fantastic. Myself, Wife and daughter had a lovely meal. Great pints of Guinness. And believe me I have drank a fair amount of Guinness in my time. Only downside was I mistakenly thought the guy running the place was Mexican. Yeah. He's Indian. Nice guy too.

Love this place! If you are looking for a cool place that doesn't have the tourist trap feel, and you are looking for excellent food, this is the place. It's got the perfect "dive bar" appeal with great food...the fish and chips are the best I've had in a long time (and we're from Wisconsin, fish dinners are a big deal there). For the younger crowd, there is often live music after 8:30 or 9 and the prices are affordable. The locals hang out here, and they are friendly, that's always a good sign.

Great as usual. New owners since we last visited Taupo. Maybe add more old and known music too but still friendly and beers are cheap. Oh and my partner and I win a little bit at the pokies too 😁🍻

Quick stop after a long drive. Found this pub by accident. Best pint of Guinness I've had in a long time. Nice wee pub. Even let us try the wine before we bought. Be heading back down this way next week. Might even stop in for another pint or three
