Review Taupo Indian Cuisine Restaurant & Bar - Taupo

I had a wonderful experience at the Taupo Indian cuisine restaurant,Taupo, and I wanted to give a special shout-out to Grace for making it truly exceptional. Grace’s friendly manner added to the wonderful dining experience and made it truly enjoyable. She was attentive to all customers needs, provided helpful recommendations, and ensured that everything was perfect throughout my meal. Grace’s dedication to her work and her ability to make customers feel valued really stood out. I highly recommend visiting the restaurant and having the pleasure of being served by Grace.Prices were genuine and reasonable too. Cheers

Must go to in Taupo! This is a great restaurant. Really well priced compared to Taupo restaurants so it is worth driving the 1km out of downtown. We had two spice levels (my husband mild) and I had spicy which was amazing! They made homemade mango icecream that was delicious! Will make a point to go again when we stop back in Taupo.

I had just arrived in Tāupo in the evening, coming from Rotorua, tired after a long day, and hungry after not having had time to eat all day I hence had to make a good choice for my dinner I saw that restaurant when passing by, it caught my attention, I checked its reviews and was confident about it... Knowing how Indian food can be spicy, I asked them if they had non spicy options. I was recommended mild butter chicken, and so I went for it... good move! It was yummy, came with raisin (dried fruits) too, nice surprise As a side I had garlic cheese naan, there was a lot And as a drink I asked for another Indian classic, mango lassi I fell well full after this (and remember I hadn't eaten all day), with yummy food (and having lived in India for 5 months I had expectations) Oh and staff members are well friendly, we talked about my time in India, cool people Comfy seats And some Indian paintings on the walls Definitely recommended

Great food complemented by excellent service. Had a wonderful meal on a Monday afternoon. An additional plus is that facilities are well maintained. Will gladly recommend to friends visiting the area

I ordered a vegetarian curry, plain naan and some mango kulfi.. and it was all delicious! The kulfi was a standout, it's that perfect balance of sweet and refreshing... the curry was perfect with so many flavours and in a rich, creamy sauce.. the naan was also chewy and a perfect balance! Would highly recommend and have made a regular customer out of me :)

9 of us came in for an extended family dinner tonight, we all left happy with very full bellies. Delicious dinner as usual, thanks so much for your wonderful service. I’ll be seeing you again soon

We had been recommended this place from two different Indian locals, and it did not disappoint. After being greeted by Grace who was smiley and welcoming we quickly and ordered popadoms and a starter of Manchurian followed by two main dishes of Butter Paneer and Aloo Gobi with a side of garlic Naan bread (complimentary rice was also served) we would highly recommend all the dishes but our favourite was the Manchurian. We had so much food for the two of us we got some takeaway. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Taupo.
