Great little bay and restaurant. I recognised the owner from a bar in the city. He is still hands on and runs a very tight ship. Great food, good selection of drinks. We went there with Nana in a wheelchair and nothing was a bother. Great experience. Will def go back

First time there. Absolutely loved the food! From the moist chicken burger to the dessert, everything was A++ Made to feel welcome when we arrived plus the wait staff were on point. Would definitely recommend to try this place out if you haven't already.

It really is a GREAT local where you will always know someone. Its the place to go for most who live in Pyes Pa. The staff are great and make a point of getting to know you so you are greeted by name when you arrive..
Whether its a catch up with friends, a stop in on Friday after work or a midweek meal, The Good Local offers a great selection of delicious bar food and meals and the restaurant is always busy.
We love having a place to go that really is our local.

Every time I come here owner is a complete gentleman. I mistakingly placed an order for the wrong day and waited for it to be delivered. Went in to discuss and I was made aware of what happened, he then shouted me a beer and a bottle of cider for the hoha partner at home while I waited for the food. Best service hands hands down, no ifs or buts. Keep it up Good Local

Delicious food enjoyed by everyone at the table tonight, even the toddler devoured his fish and chips with delight. Great selection of drinks as with any Good George pub. Highlight of the night was the incredible service we had from our waitress Danica, very attentive, friendly and enthusiastic all the way through the evening.

Update 2021 - Always great food at the Local and the host is just so friendly as are the rest of the staff. Try the rosti stack! Amazing! - 2019 -Great Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. Meat was tender, capsicum and onion cooked just right. Very tasty. Won't be using your fingers for this one though.

A huge thank you to the morning crew today - my Sunday started with a gym visit, I then walked home and discovered my flatmate had mistakenly locked me out. Wandered back to Good Local for a yummy brunch which I highly recommend! The girls were so welcoming and accommodating - especially when I discovered my phone was dying. No worries...they charged it and were happy to pick up calls from my flattie should he return early as I headed back to the gym to kill time. You guys rock, I certainly felt like a local today - such great food, great service and you really went above and beyond to make what could have been a bad morning an absolute pleasure - top job!!!! See you again soon.
