Review Quantum Vis Eatery - Tauranga

I had the most fabulous dairy free 'high tea' today. Lovelly service and a great time. Thank you for making my food so similar to that of the other guest.

Celebrated birthday brekkie/morn tea here today. The food was really good, generous portions too. 1 scone or muffin is enough to feed 2! We really enjoyed the atmosphere & food selection & though it was very busy, our food & coffees were brought out promptly. Only down side is, there is not enough close car parking outside as most of the parks are reserved. Apart from that, a lovely experience had by all. Would def come again😊

We had High Tea for a group celebration. Food was lovely along with the service. The long table was a bit restricting to the atmosphere but all over a great experience. Consider this place for a similar event.

Right across the road from Tauranga hospital so a very central location. Cant praise the lovely staff enough as well. Food was devine - especially the Hummingbird bird cake!! 😋 the only downfall was the beetroot Latte needs a little work.

Best chicken salad that has blown my taste buds out of this world, really delicious Kai.

We love eating here as it has a lot of keto and GF options. Food delicious 🤤 my daughter even said best pancakes she has ever had.

Quantum Vis catered for an event for us - morning tea and lunch. Placing the order and finalising it was hassle free and was delivered on time. The food was exactly what we asked for and was delicious and exquisitely presented. Will definitely use them again. Many thanks

Very nice vegetarian high tea. Plenty of food. The mushroom pasties were divine. Table was very nicely set with table cloth, flowers, vintage plates and cups. Service was good. Highly recommended for a treat. Good price too.

Lovely yummy cakes! The keto cheesecake was absolutely on point and the plum pistachio cake was also very nice.

I had the keto chicken salad, one of their keto coffees and a citrus cupcake and I was SO IMPRESSED at how tasty everything was. The cupcake was spongy and light (a hard feat for a keto treat!). I'd go back again and get the exact same thing happily, although there were other enticing options too. Thanks for having more than one keto option! 🤩

A handy cafe opposite the Tauranga Hospital used by medical staff as well as members of the public. Comfortable establishment with a wide range of cakes and cooked food. Hawthorne's coffee from Havelock North roastery, the decaff is smooth and satisfying made by a skilled barista. The wildberry cheesecake is my favourite match for the coffee. Coffee is served in a glass with a paper serviette wrap...as it should be. Polite caring staff look after you. I recommend this cafe as your local Google guide.

I think the busyness of this eatery speaks volumes. Beautiful looking food. Great selection. Eye appeal to the max. They say you eat with your eyes first and quite obviously they know this. Unfortunately the coffee was only lukewarm so didn't enjoy that at all.

I come to this place often when I’m on Tauranga to meet people and the food + coffee is consistently good. Very well priced too! Both the cabinet food & menu items are great. Service friendly & efficient. You can get an amazing homemade savoury tart (variety of options) with handmade short crust pastry and a salad for $14. Today I had the Smashed Avo on Keto Toast w Grilled Haloumi & it was super tasty. Will certainly be stopping in again.

Had nice little lunch here. Quirky stylings. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was fresh and tasty. Eggs Benedict with salmon was very yum. Coffee was quality. Worth a visit.

WE'RE STILL RAVING ABOUT THE FOOD !!

Pre show dinner for 40 odd please. We need to be feed and out by 7.40pm.

Arrived to antipasto platters on every table and a 'side dish' of crackers and breads. Substantial ! (sorry pic won't upload properly)
Dinner of crispy skin succulent pork belly ontop creamy silky mashed kumura, perfectly moist boneless skinless chicken thighs in (I think) a masala sauce with a wonderfully balanced seasonal salad.
All catering to the dairy free, egg free, gluten free mad lot that we are.

Boutique beer recommendations from staff slightly off - but when aren't they. Good selection of wines.

Staff were great. Very friendly, efficient, polite, welcoming. When they weren't serving us they were walking around clearing bottles and glassware.

Not only booked for us ! Usually a problem for the other patrons - however, (as I know one of them) I was informed that this restaurant had called them to check that, as they had booked first, would they be okay with having us essentially take over. Then staff waited for the guests to arrive so they didn't feel overwhelmed.
- BIG UPS - cant' remember the last time I heard of customers being put before profits !

The food alone is enough to have me return !

This place looks great & has a nice vibe. For me that's where it stopped. The service was pretty much non existent, there were others around us who had table service but we were basically ignored & ordered at the counter & had to get ourselves water & salt & pepper. I had the duck burger which was unpleasant. It did come with nice crispy chips which gave me something to enjoy at least. My partner had the big breakfast which he felt was very average. Coffee is decent but I wouldn't return.

I felt compelled to write this note to say I have had breakfast twice at this cafe and both times the food and service was fantastic. I stay next door when I am doing business in Tauranga and as I travel throughout the country I can tell you this is one of the better cafe's I have been to.

Oh My! What a shocker. We have been twice now and each time has been appalling. On our first visit for brunch the "gourmet sausage" looked and tasted boiled and the toast looked and tasted like fried bread not value for money at all.
We gave them a second chance in case it was an off day. On 18/8/14 we went for lunch and had the lamb curry, it was full of fat, gristle and bone, totally inedible. We complained to our waitress, an indian girl who thought we wanted a doggie bag to take it home! No thanks. The coffee is very weak too.
The menu is extensive and as a result they do nothing well.

Incredible service, with an extremely inviting and friendly staff on board. The food was to die for with a range that captured flavours to satisfy all members of our table .. The staff were informative and their knowledge of matching menu with wine was spot on and very refreshing. Would recommend to anyone in the area

Went there last night, was warmly greeted into the café and chose our table, water was delivered with the menu of which it was explained to us. took our drinks order and then returned with drinks and we ordered, was suggested that 3 dishes would be enough for us (we ordered four) and it was explained that each dish came with 3 tapas on it. They were right was just perfect amount.

it was lovely, food was outstanding - tasty and full of flavor. Our waiter was very informative and eager to please, the younger girl working there just needs a bit more confidence, but that will come with time.

Definitely worth giving it a go.... hope it goes well for them, nice to have a place close to where we live.

We are off there on Sunday to try their breakfast menu with friends.

Firstly, food is fantastic. Tasting plates or select your favourite. Few issues regarding service to sort out but - hey - it's their first night. Huge potential, hope it takes off.
