Popped into this cafe while visiting the Historic Village WOW, what a beauty lil place this is if you have a hunger on!! ๐Ÿ˜‹ I felt like a wee sweet fix, and omg, I certainly got that! They have sweet, savory, hot cold food, I was so impressed. Professional friendly service with a smile ๐Ÿ˜ƒ definitely recommend if you're down the village you won't be disappointed ๐Ÿ‘Œ

In the last week, this place had been recommended by at least 3 different people. Decided to meet friends there for morning tea today. It didn't disappoint... what a selection! I chose - after changing my mind 50 times - the Salted Caramel Doughnut, and a long black. Both were really good. I mean REALLY good! Will be back, for sure. Loved the whole Historic Village vibe.

Omg check out these awesome donuts. Great place to explore for the weekend. Tried their donut balls this time. Just the right amount of cinnamon and sugar

Popped in here after todays ParkRun for a coffee and was blown away by the Gluten Free options available. Itโ€™s usually a challenge trying to find goodies that are both GF and DF, so imagine my excitement at seeing the GF vegan chocolate brownie on offer. Iโ€™ve tried multiple versions on my travels, but I can say hands down these guys have a sure fire winner with this one. Itโ€™s the best Iโ€™ve had in AGES!!! I was even tempted to ask for the recipe to take back with me to the UK, but thought Iโ€™d be pushing my luck. Well done guys - will definitely be back when next in New Zealand again. Highly recommend!!!

Love, love, loved the injected donut I tried! The chicken and cranberry panini was also excellent. The freakshake however was mostly whipped cream rather than milkshake so youโ€™re paying pretty much for everything on top of the shake. Otherwise, a decent place to visit! Will definitely be returning to try the other injected donuts ๐Ÿ˜‹

Best donuts, dare I say better than Dunkin donuts imo. Great food all around at good prices, very friendly staff. Give this place a try next time you are in the area, and you will not be disappointed.

Great little cafe, lots of options to select from: muffins, scones, slices, huge donut delection, brakfast, coffees and thei delectable "Freaking Good Skakes". Breskfast benedict was amazing but my husband was dissapointed with the standard breakfast. Will definitaly be back.

We experienced this lovely Bakery when we delivered the leadlight door for repair last week. We decided then to return for a lunch (had coffee and scone/cake first time). Wonderful service, fantastic restful environment with some vintage radio from the historic village radio station. I had the wrap and the doughnut . Diane had 9also the doughnut) and what she described as being "fantastically light, delicious pie"

Having worked in a bakery and going to many over my time this is by far one of the best I have the most amazing doughnuts they are literally addictive everything else as delicious as well. We often visit the Mangatapu store!

Yum!! Wonderful baked food - pies, roll, scones, and a range of other goodies. They were delicious especially the Salmon & cream cheese tart and the tomato and feta mini tarts. There was so much to choose from - hard to decide - the range of pastries was hard to resist too.

Awesome little spot for lunch! They were very busy when I went there but still the service was good and the food is excellent! Salad options are great, the fritata was incredible and the cinnamon roll was to die for! Really appreciate the efforts the staff were making to make sure every customer was happy. I will definitely be coming back to this little hidden gem!
