Great Indian restaurant along from the Mount, food is good quality and full of flavour I had a Chicken Pasanda one for the more delicate pallet with a cheese and garlic Naan with onion Bhaji to start. No microwave here can see them making them from scratch. Friendly service too.

Raj the manager on the floor was amazing, welcomed us in a friendly manner, service was amazing , food was ready quite quickly and towards the end we got some nice dessert , overall amazing experience, will definitely go again ! Raj also introduced us to the chef Arvind who was also friendly!

Exceeded my expectations! I thought it would be very basic, but it's actually very tasty! Butter chicken is absolutely beautiful, and biryani chicken rice is so good, I ordered a very spicy one and it came very spicy, which I love. The samosas and garlic naan bread are good too. I Would definitely come back here! Oh and the staff is very friendly! So, good food, good service, perfect dinner!

I been there last week with my friends. We have a starter which is spilling on hot plate very tasty. The mains we orders is goat pasanda and chicken jalfrezi, we loved our meals. Friendly service we enjoyed our dinner very much. We surely come back to this restaurant and also recommend this to our friends

I loved my main i had the vegetable jhalfrezi, it was delicious. my friend said his butter chicken tasted like pumpkin soup and his kechumber had huge onion chunks in it. Friendly service, i would come here again :)

Very bad food. Highly disappointed. If you want to waste your money go to this place. Been there last night for my birthday dinner with my wife. ordered two curries for 20 to 23 dollars worth. GOT WATERY CURRY. And tasteless. Being an Indian I Felt so ripped off as I know the exact flavour of the curries. Seems like they are making money by adding waters in curries. Which is shame for Indian cuisine. It wasn't enough when my wife found STRAND OF HAIR in curry. HIGHLY DISGUSTING. My birthday dinner was completely spoiled. And we had to eat burger king later as we didn't eat properly there.

I can highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. We have been visiting Bombay Brasserie since it opened many years ago. The food has been consistently good in all the many visits we have made and the services is excellent but not intrusive. <br/><br/>The dishes can be as hot or as mild as you like but this does not diminish the authenticity of the food. My partner is vegetarian and Bombay Brasserie is his first choice of restaurants in the Bay.<br/><br/>A big thumbs up for Bombay Brasserie

I collected a takeaway from this restaurant whilst here on business. They kindly made a prawn madras for me with basmati rice and a garlic naan. It was very tasty (hot, but I like that..)and the portion was generous. I opted for prawn as they use chicken thigh meat, not breast (which I prefer and is used in 95% Indian chicken curries in the UK). I would definitely recommend - one of the better Indians in NZ (I miss a good curry, alas).
