Review The Black Sheep Restaurant & Atrium Gallery - Tauranga

Quite a big place, with a lovely art gallery in the entrance. There was the inside seating area which could comfortably fit large groups. Sunny day so we sat outside. This area caters for dog walkers, with a seperate entrance if you have a dog. This area could be amazing if only it was looked after. There is a roof over part of it, which is great if the sun is too hot, then there is seating out in the sunshine. Problem is that it needs a lot of attention from a gardener or landscaper. It has sad looking plants that are overrun by weeds, and more weeds growing between the paving. There is an outdoor fireplace which by the looks of it, isn't working. Just a lot of weeding, tidying up and sweeping would make a big improvement. We will go back because the food and staff were good but I'd love to not be distracted from my meal by ugly weeds.

This was from a while ago but when I went out to get dinner with my parents, we were really impressed with the customer service from the staff. The one taking our order didn't even have to write anything down and recalled everything that we wanted, even when I asked to modify my dish, he remembered it all. The food arrived quickly too and was very delicious :) This experience never left my mind and so I'm writing this review now. I would encourage others to try out the Black Sheep. I'm greatly anticipating the next time to come visit!

Very nice first time ever to eat a meal at the Black Sheep. Had fish of the day very nice enjoyed the salad 🥗 would have preferred chunky chips fries were to small.

We were 110% satisfied with our dinner and dessert tonight at The Black Sheep. It was so awesome, the portion sizes we're huge. All the food and drinks were absolutely delicious. The meals were brought out really fast. I highly recommend for a great family restaurant. We will definitely be going back.

This is one of those premium restaurants where crowd is well behaved, staff responds on time, order to food delivery time is less and taste is very good. Plenty of options in drinks menu.The best chicken burger I have ever tasted i really loved it 🤤 😋 The staff members were friendly, attentive✨.I highly recommend a visit

We had my sons 5th birthday party there and it was so awesome! Staff were super helpful, we were able to decorate, and food came out when we asked. The food was divine too! Only critique was we’d pre- ordered two vegan pizzas for our dairy intolerant kids, and they didn’t have vegan cheese on the day so that was a bummer. Otherwise, it was a perfect day, epic space, amazing service and 100% will be using for a function space again !

This place has so much potential. Lovely huge outdoor area. Great for taking kids. A little run down. Meals and drinks were all yum

Plenty of gluten free friendly options available for dinner. Had the lamb shanks and a local cider, it was great.

I had the most amazing chicken salad. The best chicken salad I have ever tasted. Super excited to find this amazing restaurant. The chocolate brownie also beyond delicious. Amazing customer service. I would highly recommend a visit.

I made a special booking for my mother's birthday. This is for next week. There was a beautiful set menu that made your mouth water, with all the luxuries of fine dining. The customer service was beyond amazing and I am absolutely thankful for the beautiful evening that my parents are going to have. Thank you team !!

Hugely improved cafe/bar since world of horses days. POP Mustang club port of call as has heaps of parking good beer and great tucker.

Had a family dinner here that feed 12 of us for Mother's Day. Pre ordered our kai so there was no waiting at all. Service was lovely. Food was devine especially their Scotch Fillet Steak, just melted in your mouth 🤤. Portion sizes were massive, so big we had to ask for a doggie bag. But well worth every buck spent or over be on. Will definitely be back to dine in again. 🫶

Yummy food Great service from the young ladies. Nice to see a business hiring local students and giving them a chance. Place could do with a make over but hey, food hasn't disappointed.

The food at the black sheep was very good and had lots of flavour and tasted delicious the food came out very quickly and I didn’t have to wait long the service was amazing a lovely a girl served me and was very polite!!!! Definitely recommend
