I gave 4 stars rather than 5, although the food was amazing! The staff are friendly and polite, but they need to understand the menu! I went there as the reviews mentioned there are vegan options! I went there and asked vegan options, and they guy there said yes and wrote vegan in front of me on the order! The food took ages to show, and when it did, they guy mentioned there is a cream in the food! I was really annoyed as the food was already late! I asked the guy, and you wrote vegan on the order! Do you know what is even vegan? And he said no!! Ended up changing the food and getting me a vegan dish after explaining what vegan is! The staff apologized for that, and they were polite, but I think if he didn't know what is vegan, he could ask me first instead of wasting my time!

The food here has been consistently tasty, delicious and cooked well. We prefer the spicy butter chicken not the sweet version that many Indian restaurants serve in NZ.
This restaurant serves as requested by the customer. The naan is always soft, fluffy & fresh. The mango lassi is thick and tasty.
It’s a delight to order our favourite dishes from here, and it’s the reason we keep coming back.

Best butter chicken in Tauranga for sure! Smooth and creamy not too sweet or tomato-ey like some places but still with a beautiful spice to it. Chicken was perfectly cooked and the naans were on point. Big ups from your new regular, Liam!

Lunch special. 13.5 for curry, rice, naan, can of soft drink. 16 for a wine/beer substitution for the soft drink. Good value. Wife enjoyed her mild butter chicken. I had a hot chicken Tikka masala, also very yum. The tandoori chicken was very nice, the naan also crisp and tasty. Drinks prices very reasonable too, might organise a group here. Not sure how they'd go with a bunch of kids. :)

Hands down my absolute favourite Indian restaurant in Tauranga! They ALWAYS have the best meat. No weird chewy bits or gristle. Also not weird sweet sauces, this tastes actually good, my favourite is the masala but they also are great at giving recommendations based on your preferences. Im currently devouring a prawn madras. Its absolutely the best madras I've ever had. If I could rate 20 stars I would. Also always have great naan. *chefs kiss*

I went with a vegan based meal and honestly the best Chana Masala I'ver ever tasted! So yummy definitely coming back to try other curries but this one is the best🤩😍!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH INIDIAN PAVILION!!! THE BESTT CURRY IN TOWN!!

Best curry I've had in Tauranga and very cheap too :o)<br/>I had butter chicken, and my friends had malai kofta and beef vindaloo, they were very happy with theirs as well.<br/>Haven't tried the delivery service yet, but don't mind the drive for this dinner!
