Review Sprig & Fern Tavern - Tawa - Tawa

Simple done right. The steak meal was what you’d expect, steak, salad and chips but the steak was amazing. Service was friendly and laid back. The fireplace added to the cozy atmosphere. Shame about the lack of parking as I imagine that would put some people off but well worth the visit for dinner for us.

We've been coming here for +3 years. Rory knows our orders and makes us feel right at home. The Tasman Reserve, spiced nuts and platter for 2 are our favourites. Classy, chilled atmosphere for a professional or mature audience.

Had our work Christmas lunch there and the fish cakes were amazing. They were patient with us, taking our time to choose what we wanted for lunch. Thank you team 🙂

Updated review. Went back today for lunch and had an awesome experience. Fantastic new west Coast Ipa released today and the sharing platter was one of the best we have ever had. We will be back! December 2020 (previous review) Lovely spot, quite good beer and food was good. But unfortunately on this night the service was really lacking. Had to go to the bar several times to order drinks and still they forgot drinks. They forgot to come over and ask if we wanted a main so we went somewhere else for a second course.

A very nice place to go for lunch in the northern suburbs. Good menu options, lots of space, comfortable chairs. The service was very good, and at the same time not pushy.

Great little place. Sit inside or outside. Simple no nonsense menus. Food fantastic, drinks awesome, especially the Sprig and Fern beers, and the service was impeccable. Very reasonable prices too. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Went for dinner with my husband and 2 kids. The service was wonderful- friendly, helpful and welcoming. We ordered 3 gluten free pizzas. They were fantastic - great choice of flavours on the menu and really good bases. Very enjoyable experience and very happy customers. Thank you Sprig+Fern team!

Came here with my partner our first time coming & we definitely was satisfied, beautiful food & beautiful team members decent sized meals & affordable, we enjoyed our drinks too - We definitely will be back 😊😊😊
