Review Ditto - Te Anau

We got take out and sat by the lake for dinner as it was beautiful weather. There is indoor and outdoor seating at the restaurant itself as well. I got the chicken sushi bowl, it was pretty tasty but I found the chicken quite dry and the sauce could have done with a bit more salt/flavour. I found the portions a little small but overall a nice menu with lighter options!

We went at Ditto several times between our tramps, we tried almost all of their menu (πŸ˜‚) and it was so yummy each time! πŸ˜‹ So happy that they're in Te Anau (and they're open most of the time) as there are not many restaurants to go there. Service is really good as well πŸ‘Œ

Great food and lovely staff with reasonable wait times and prices. I ordered the spicy tuna sushi bowl while my friend got the chashuu pork. Both are good options if you have a craving or itch for poke bowls. The service is quite fast and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and decor in the shop as it’s quite vibrant and visually engaging. I would definitely recommend trying out their drinks as they have heaps of options. Parking is abundance and so too are seating.

Best service I’ve had in years! Fantastic dishes too. I ordered hoppy which is a bao with rabbit. They gave me porky which is pork as the name suggests. They quickly swapped it without any troubles. Next day I came in at 8pm and they still serviced me even they meant to shut at 8!! Their bao is great, nice mix of savoury and sweet. I would come back again

We loved the pork and venison bao and enjoyed the Poutine loaded fries. The flavours of everything was on point and well balanced. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Had lunch here. Ordered Vietnamese coffee, kimchi loaded fries, pork sushi bowl and karate chicken sushi bowl. All the food was amazing and very delicious. Loved the ice coffees here. I highly recommend this place. The music is also very nice and gives the place a nice vibe.

The Asian fusion restaurant is an incredible tasty experience. The food here reaches exceptionally high levels of flavor and quality. We ordered a perfect banh mi that I highly recommend. However, it's worth noting that the service here is self-service, so if you're looking for a casual, informal experience, this is the place for you.

We enjoyed the crispy tofu and karaage chicken 'sushi bowls'. The portions aren't huge, but they weren't too expensive for the region at $17.50. Closes fairly early - we got there just in time to order at about 19:30.

Fresh and delicious! We tried the Vietnamese loaded fries at the suggestion of our air bnb host. They were delicious! I had the chicken sushi bowl and my husband had the pork buns. We loved everything! There are a couple of restaurants that serve Asian foods but this is where the locals go and I can see why!

Such a hidden gem, all the way out in Te Anau. Interesting Asian fusion in a stop-over on your way to/from Milford Sound. Pau was amazing, place is quiet and chill. Staff was friendly and their food selection is not too shabby either
