Review Radhas Indian Restaurant & Takeaway - Te Anau

Good food and service here. Probably not many Indian restaurants in this area. The server was honest when asked for his recommendations, such as the biryani not being the authentic Dum style and that the butter chicken was sweet (to suit the Kiwis) and that the spice levels could be altered to Indian styles if required. The food arrived pretty quickly and was fresh and hot. We tried the garlic naans, dal makhani and chicken tikka masala. Give them a go!

Had been there today and felt like proper indian restro. Food was okay as being indian food lover,taste is nver compromised by me,so would say that taste was okay but hygience was good. Ambience was also so good.

The food, the service, the atmosphere, the price were top notch. I ordered lamb briyani and garlic nan cheese. they were superb and so delicious. Came to Te Anau for holiday and so happy that I decided to eat here to end my day. Really recommended!!!

Excellent food, was craving for Indian food after 7 days of not having an Indian dish and this restaurant exceeded my expectations. We are here for 2 more days. I'm pretty sure that we'll be going back again.

One of the few restaurants open in Te Anau of a Monday. Very slow seating people (we are not invisible!) but the food is cooked to order and there are a few wine options. Kingfisher beer on tap. The malai kofta is creamy, perfect for soaking in a naan. I like the lighting.

Food was good. Not very authentic but helps with Indian food cravings as we didn’t have Indian meal for a couple of days. Ambience & Service was good.

Busy place. Great service, very friendly, curries excellent, plenty of vegetarian options. Wait for main courses was a little long due to very high demand but worth it.

Most of the food was good except samosa. Free Parking space was there. Nice view and surroundings Baby high chair were there

One of the best indian food I've had in NZ/Aus. We were also very grateful that the staff didn't turn us away when we arrived at 9:10pm for dinner like the rest of the restaurants in town.

Great value for Lunch set, portion was enough!! upgraded to cheese&Garlic Naan, which was amazing. Zalfi... curry was just what I needed. But for me Lassi was not very impressive. Highly recommend

Ggot online takeaways from here after a long hike. The food was hot and came out in relatively large servingsizes. The food was really good, and kicked a good amount of spice. Would highly recommend the butter chicken, chicken tika masala, lamb korma and biryani.

Visited recently. Located in the heart of Te Anau. Pleasant and relaxing atmosphere with unmistakable touch of great Indian cuisines and culture. Washrooms available and those are clean. Delicious and spicy food ,prices are bit expensive but par with the market rates of the area. Warm and friendly service. Highly recommended for decent Indian cuisine..

Probably the only Indian restaurant near Milford Sound. It serves pretty good Indian food. Am sure you had awesome Indian food in many parts of the world, and if you compare it with them it might not fare well. But if all you're looking for is a reasonably good Indian food on your trip to 8th wonder, then this is the only place in the area. We found food was pretty good. The service was OK, and it is very conveniently located near the lake and other restaurants are next to it.

I'm not one for posting reviews normally but I've just had a AMAZING meal from Radha's I have a food allergy and it was no problem for them to cater to that we had the Chicken Tikka, butter chicken and plain naan the chicken Tikka was so flavorful and juicy, the butter chicken was creamy and delicious, and the naan was huge! ( and very good also) service was good, can't recommend enough :)

We had a really nice meal here. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly and relaxed. Great to not be rushed through our meal. Will visit again when we're next in Te Anau.

We just came back from Milford Sound on our way back to Queenstown. Was icy cold. Received a friendly smiley face when we walked in. Food was fabulous and a nice warm atmosfere inside. Just what we needed after a long day on the road. Will highly recommend them!

We were disappointed when we walked the length of the town in search of an Indian restaurant and found out that they were closing an hour earlier than scheduled timing, surprisingly on a Friday night in tourist season!

HELP: I want to find out what was in the food I ate because it messed up my digestive system and gave me very uncomfortable results. I would like to know what would have reacted with me. I asked for GLUTEN FREE food and suitable for eating as I have had ULCERS, so I have to be careful what I ate. This was clearly spoken out and was given the option of the DEAREST options on the menu. I am sure there was a safer option that I should have been offered. This is five days later and I am still suffering from the meal results. I want to know what I NEED TO AVOID IN THE FUTURE. Perhaps it is this restaurant? I tried ringing their phone number on their brochure 0800638541, BUT was asked to enter their ACCESS CODE. So I got no answer to the Call. How do I get in touch with them? I am not in TeAnau but go there regularly. ( This is no long placed inside the Mobil Service Station. They have shifted further up the street)
