Hollyford Cafe - Te Anau - Photo album

The seating area is large. Staff is friendly. Located in Te Anau, this cafe offers cabinet foods and freshly prepared meals. On the way from Queenstown to Milford Sound, this is a nice place to take a rest. There is a souvenir shop with a wide selection of items.
We stopped off in Te Anau on our way to Milford Sound and our tour bus dropped us off at Hollyford Cafe for a quick 15mins break to use the facilities and grab some snacks / meals. I had the venison and mushroom pie, it was really good. Tasty and generous filling and the pastry was buttery and flaky
A nice place to take a rest on the midway from Queenstown to Milford sound. A plenty of choices of foods and drinks are available in the Cafe. Also, there is a souvenir shop with plenty of goods. The toilet is quite clean and offer hot water for hand washing (very important in cold weather).
One of the notable check point of you are heading or coming back from Milford Sound. The coffee is great and affordable. Breakfast is nice.
Friendly staff, and they serves good quality honest food at reasonable prices. Daily $10 specials board for a meal is a great idea. Yummo coffee too. Recommended
Had a quick breakfast here and really enjoyed it. I had the avocado, mushroom and edamame beans on toast, highly recommended. Lots of space and seating and friendly staff. Lucky enough to arrive just before a whole bus load of people arrived!
Beautiful location, close to the lake. Ordered avo toast & ate it on my way to Milford Sound. Absolutely delicious food! Will definitely be back next time I visit Te Anau!
Came for breakfast. We had the eggs benedict and bacon and eggs with a flat white and an espresso. The food and coffee was great, poached eggs were cooked perfectly. Service was fast and efficient when the whole town is clearly struggling for staff. Also the wifi was quick!
The cabinet food selection is decent, but perhaps not the yummiest food around. There are snacks such as pot noodles and chips. There is also a breakfast and lunch menu. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
Spacious and clean.. loved the shoestring fries and the wedges. Vegetable soup wasn't that great..
The food is all better than expected for such a remote area, but if you are staying in the area and want to get an early start, they don’t serve breakfast meals until all of the busses go through at 10:30. So hopefully all you need is a muffin and a coffee. It kinda ruined two of our days, but what
Great food, great service! Loved the veggie soup!
