Review Cosana - Te Awamutu

Wow wow wow! The food and the service is incredible! This has to be the best kept foodie secret in the Waikato! Their macrons won an Australian Fine Food award. And their menu is well through out , tasty and lovingly prepared. You will not be disappointed !

Distinct Asian fusion. Taste amazing! Recommend the Hawkers and side of Potatoes! The different buns to try are worth it as well!

Just amazing, friendly lady serving and food came out fast, hot and super fresh. We had 5 plate between 2 of us and this was too much but the dishes were just incredible. Prawns were tasty and the cfc chicken just the right spicy, chicken noodles were so good along with the pork dumplings and fresh rice paper rolls to top it off. We will be back

What a great new restaurant. Already fully booked. Wonderful tapas food. Absolutely great service. And they are expanding to be open 10.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. from today - 12 February 2018. We are so lucky having them here. Just been there for a second time in a week. Both times for business meetings. They now open at 8.30 each morning.

AMAZING!!, the best food in NZ. Have travelled and lived all over NZ and this gem in TA honestly has the tastiest food. Great service too!!! The Calamari heads are the bloody best.

The food isnt the only great thing about this place! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, our steak was cooked perfectly and the crispy chicken is to die for. Cannot recommend this place enough.

The staff are very friendly, the food was lovely. Try the dumplings very yummy and the steak and mushroom sauce was beautiful. Would definitely return again.

Service was great all staff attentive but not invasive. We tried al of the Tappas and enjoyed them all and deserts were devine. We sat outside which we requested which was great. The only criticism we would have was a bit noisy inside. Well done to the staff, great stuff.

Good food and service and nice surroundings. Wait staff helpful but slow to clear tables and some were left uncleared the whole time we were there and it wasn't busy.

This is a great spot with good food and the biggest plus us that it is not on Te Awamutu's very noisy main street. The main street is full of loud cattle and delivery trucks plus a c9nstant stream of Fonterra milk tankers so sitting outside to eat us NOT pleasant whereas at Cosana you can and they are only 1 block off the main street.

What a welcoming and friendly environment. Amanda and her team are above and beyond amazing. Their service is top notch and makes for an easy dining experience.

Had our xmas dinner here. Lovely buffet. The food was amazing...esp the smoked beef , salmon and balsamic veges. Great stuff

OMGosh yummy that's all I can say, my husband and I usually don't have cake but we decided on coffee and cake today and it was sooo yummy. next time we will be trying.g the menu, can't wait

Came here 28 Feb for our Anniversary - the food was amazing, we ended up with 5 tapas dishes between 2 of us!! The Laksa was to die for, we asked for bread to mop every last drop up. We also had the beef, meatballs, pork, potatoes - all just superb and perfectly presented. V good wine list too. All the staff were very welcoming, but our waitress, Alice, was superb, very attentive and on the ball. Thank you Alice. The only critique, really, was that the lights were a tad too bright for evening tapas and drinks, and there was no surround music. Otherwise, bang on, a comfortable, nice relaxed vibe, no-rush at all evening - we will be back - lots. Wishing you every success, and keep up the superb effort. Great food, great chef, very happy punters!

Honestly the best food ever!! I love the restaurant! I love the food! I love the people! I love everything about it! I recommend you go here and you will not be disappointed! My little cousin is a very picky eater and they made effort to match her food needs! So thank you Cosana for a great experience and keep up the hard work!!!!

We had dinner here for my Dad's 70h birthday last Saturday (17th Feb). I can't rave enough. The food was superb. Loved the social feeling that tapas offers. We were a big group with children too, and we were all in love with the food. I have to add that the icing on the cake was the amazing service that Iona, our waitress offered. She really is an asset to you, our night wouldnt've been as magic without her. Thanks all �

Beautiful food every time I visit, no matter whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner and great customer service with a smile and the food came out in a very timely fashion. Really enjoyed the live music tonight l, created a lovely atmosphere.

I had dinner here the other night for a girls night out. We tried lots of dishes! Which were all very delicious. It was the place to be on a wild and stormy night. A great dinning experience.

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Had lunch here and evening meals of tapas with friends. The meals were beautifully presented and enjoyable. Nice just to come in for a relaxed cup of coffee and sit on those cushy sofas. Will definitely be back for more.

Had the best service from Iona � Even pulled a few strings for us to have dessert in the late morning. Best potato chips too!!

First time visit to Cosana and we'll definitely be back. I had the pulled pork burger with twice cooked potatoes and my husband had the mushroom bruschetta. Both were delicious. The staff were very efficient and friendly �

Went to Gothenburg last week and Cosana this week- no comparison Im afraid. Pork Belly at Cosana was chewy and not crispy at all- we even left some! Squid tentacles were also really tough. The two wines we chose from the menu were no longer available. On the plus side, the mushroom bruschetta was divine and the waitress was super helpful and accommodating. Not enough to go back though.

Delicious food & great service! Highly recommended! Can’t wait to come back & try the rest of the menu!

The most terrible restaurant experience ever! They forgot two of our mains. Spoke down to us. Insulted my wife. I tell ya. This establishment will be lucky to have its doors still open by the end winter. And they still tried to charge us for the mains that they didn't even serve!!!
