DELICIOUS! Best curry we have had in a very long time, we asked for Indian hot and they absolutely delivered. Very tasty hot, not blow your socks off hot. Not watery and very generous serving size. We will be back for sure.

Food was spot on and service was fantastic..My Wife said Tikka Masala was best she's ever eaten and she's had quite a few in Aussie. Generous portions(even had enough to take home for dinner the next night) 15/10

It is a quaint little restaurant that we stumbled upon during our travels. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. The naan bread was super soft and the malai kofta was very well cooked. The chef here really knows what he is doing. Absolutely recommend this place.

Absolutely divine, ordered a lamb madras (kiwi hot) and bhuna ghosht (Indian hot) and told them we like it hot... perfect heat for both and very tasty flavors. Nice thick curry and yummy naans too 😋

Visited today for lunch, absolutely superb meal was full of meat which is what you want and full of flavour. Excellent service. Best Indian I've had for a long time right down to hot plates and Garlic Naan heaps of garlic that you could taste. Would Highly recommend and will definitely make the trip from Hamilton to dine here again.😊😊

I love this place, the food is wonderful, the kitchen is kept to a very high standard and very clean. The food is magnificent, it's not hard to tell that the ingredients going into these meals is of very high quality. One of my personal favourites this place and we'll worth it to take time out enjoy the surroundings inside even though this place does take away meals, my partner and I prefer to dine here. A great chief too who likes to personally serve you sometimes even though he's a busy man in this popular place. A must for those who'd like a change from the boring bland unadventurous kiwi style cuisine that's far too overpopularized and overrated.

Recommended to us by my Grandparents who love this place... Now we love it too! Very accommodating of my vegan dietary requirements which was most pleasing. The restaurant is well presented (even though we got takeaway) the service was outstanding and the food was excellent. Will definitely go again and recommend to others :)

An awesome restuarant. I buy takeaways here regularly and have dined in a couple of times too. The food is tasty with plenty of meat and an option on how spicy you want your food to be. I especially enjoy the option of goat on the menu. The staff are always friendly. The new devor looks fantastic. This place is a hidden jem i enjoy over and over again.

Heart of India is definitely a favourite restaurant of ours. Going by the flavour, the rich nutty ones in some dishes, the non powdery cheap chilli flavours that leave a gritty stuck in the back of your throat feeling; but a smooth, refined, and at the heat requirement you asked for... you can't help thinking that these people use high quality ingredients here and source the some of the best available. Being a regular here; the Chef has got to know us and what we like, he asks how we liked our meal and respectively listens to any of our feedback. Very friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, wonderful place if you enjoy the exotic experience and taste of quality Indian food. BYO also available here.

This is not the first attempt review!! I had tried almost 5 times in couple of weeks.. They surprise me every time with their unique magic touch. Every dish tat I tried is fresh and prepared to my preference. This is by far my favourite Indian restaurant in Te A. Keep up the gud work.

Had a $10 lunch curry before xmas it was sooo good. Had a great chat with the chef too about his cardamom pods in the goat curry :-)

I must have been eating at a different restaurant than all the other reviewers. I think it was quite possibly the worst Indian meal I have eaten (or not eaten as we couldn't chew the chicken). My curry was microwaved as was the naan - what a shame.

Best Indian I've ever had! The $10 lunch special is the best!
