Lovely meals, staff really friendly and good spot. Went for a walk at the park behind and then in for lunch i had the seafood chowder and my friend had the creamy mushrooms (both delish). Definitely give it a try if you're going past 😊

We had the mince on toast and creamy mushroom. Both were really good.

Great stoping spot. Good selectio of food and drinks and well priced. Very good when dealing under pressure of a rush and people queuing.

Good coffee. Tasty scone but was a bit too hot when heated up which made it a bit soft rather than a crispy scone. The pineapple, cheese n onion toastie was yummy.

Really nice. We were there shortly before closing but they were still very friendly & helpful. Food was fresh & drinks were gone in a flash 😁

Menu on the FB page needs to be updated, prices are way off. For me, the measure of a good eatery is the fish. Which I didn't get on this occasion so will have to be back. Nachos were pretty decent. Partner did ask for no onion in her burger but received anyway.

We turned up late afternoon on a Sunday heading home from Mt Ruapehu and had a lovely late lunch. The food was delicious and the people lovely even though they looked like it had been a busy day. Idiots that we are we left our Apple earpods case on the table and they couriered back to us. Thank you Bosco staff you are fantastic!

Finally on our trip north we found a cafe that was perfect! The food was excellent, coffee fabulous and in decent cups 🥰. The cafe was fresh and bright with lots of seating options. I would come back to te kuiti for this again.

We frequent this cafe as the ideal stop between Auckland and New Plymouth. Great food, friendly and efficient staff, relaxed cafe ambiance , an affordable cup of coffee and a great smile on the way out. What more can one say but 10/10!

Nice place right in Te Kuiti. Some fresh yummy slice choices to go with your coffee. I ordered a cappuccino which could be a bit stronger and a custard square. It came with extra cream. Just perfect! Friendly staff and nice room with lots of light coming from outside.

Delicious breakfast and quick, friendly service! Lots of parking and a nice patio out back.

Chips to go... Lots too, plus coffee. Lots of seating room and menu choices. Even vegan options 😄

Good service, great food! Worth making a stop on highway.

Welcoming cheerful cafe. Food was excellent, chips were crunchy on the outside and hot and fluffy on the inside. The chicken pie i had was delicious, and only if I were picky would I say that the pastry was a little under and doughy. Coffee was great and so was service. Well worth a stop over when in the area. Also, perhaps it's time for an upgrade to the tired toilet facilities.

We just had the most amazing brunch at this beautiful cafe. Great customer service. Food came out quick we were prepared to wait seeing hiw busy it was but unexplained the food and drinks arrived soon after we set down. And wow the presentation and the taste just amazing worth our money and time. Now we know where to stop for our next road trip.

Waited 45 minutes while watching people who ordered after us eat and leave. Complained with staff who hadn't even begun to prepare our meal. Told them we wanted a refunded and they reluctantly gave us 50 percent back. Will never ever stop here again.

I have stopped off here many times on either the way north or the way south. It has been a reliable place and one which I have recommended many times to friends. Yet my most recent visit was as satisfying as past ones. I felt that the pricing for some items was a little excessive. In addition I thought the selection of dishes had narrowed. Quality was OK, but just somehow some of the lustre had gone from Bosco.

Called in after receiving a recommendation from friends. Very impressed with the selection of food and very friendly staff. Service was very efficient especially given we were there during what looked like a very busy lunch time. will definitely be back - best nachos i've had on the road for some time. Great selection of gluten free products and available on request.

Though we have not called in for Y E A R S . First pleased to see the restaurant/Coffee shop still going. Even more surprised to see how much you had expanded. Business seemed to be booming. Never seen your back parking before !
Service fine, coffee good, food Good. Our visitr 29 Dec 2013.

We are a bit concerned that a lost digital camera may have become detached from my belt and left at the cafe.Grey/dark fabric case, with loop for belt and a small metal carabina. Zip open and the camera has a lanyard, to which I attached a further long loop, so it can fit round neck.

Called in for a late lunch on our way down to National Park from Auckland. Had all our dogs (Newfoundlands & Leonbergers - ie GIANT dogs) with us and sat outside in the sun. Service was great, the staff very friendly and nice clean premises. The BLT was lovely but the fries I felt were a bit of a let down. They served up shoe string type fries when really some decent sized wedges or thick cut fries would of been nicer. However, everyone declared they thoroughly enjoyed the whole Bosco experience and would definitely call in again if passing thru.

Great food and coffee, but a pity it's so noisy due to the wooden floors etc. Maybe investing in some baffle sound absorbing panels might help.
Good décor though, with some interesting art works on display. Plenty of parking at the front and back of the café.

We regularly call into Boscos Cafe on our way to Taranaki and always have excellent service. The atmosphere is friendly and helpful, the environment is restful. There is a lovely choice of food which makes choosing difficult. I love the muffins and there is good coffee. This cafe is well worth stopping for and something we look forward to on our travels.

I wouldn't really go out of by way to write a review but I couldn't let this good service go by without letting everyone know how much I enjoyed my lunch at Boscos, food was absolutely divine and reasonably priced too, service was 10 + polite and friendly waitress, will definitely be heading back on my travels through again!!

We were recently travelling with our dog and a friend recommended Bosco. As well as fantastic food and service the staff welcomed our pet. There was a water bowl and we could sit in the covered outdoor area plus there was ample space to walk her in the area behind the cafe. We then returned on our journey home for the same great food and service.

Great place to stop with the family!
We (Husband & 2 children - 2.5 & 4yr old) called in for a break in our trip. Managed to get a car park out the front - it was very full but it turns out there is also parking out the back (noticed the signs once we got out of the car). Not very long wait in the queue, all the staff seemed very organised in there roles. Staff were polite, pleasant & efficient. Ample time for kids to find the bridge and have a look/run around outside with dad while I ordered & waited for food. 2 x FW, 2 x Fluffies, 3 x ham & cheese toasties & one cheese & caramelised onion scone. All the food came out at the same time, (scone) heated nicely, home made bread & really nice cheese on toasties - big and tasty!
Toilets were clean & had ample soap & paper towels. Change table in entrance to the toilets - very handy for us with the younger child.
Lots of seating outside & nice to sit out in the shade on a sunny day. Drinks came out quickly, short (but not unreasonable) wait for the food. Coffees & food were a good price $34.00 all up.
Liked it so much - we stopped there again on the way back home!

Have to say we did not enjoy our experience at Bosco Cafe. The counter service was unfriendly, the waitress handed me my food across the table, across my friends rather than taking a few extra steps to put my breakfast in front of me. My friend got served her cabinet food about 1/2 an hour before our cooked breakfast arrived. Not very pleasant for her to have to eat by herself. When cooked breakfasts arrived my poached eggs were hard as rocks and my bacon was undercooked. My friends toasted sandwich was burnt. Not a pleasant experience at all. And to top it off the waitress came to clear the plates while I was in the middle of eating and she 'scooted' another place to the end of the table and then came stacked the coffee cups etc very loudly right next to me while I was eating. Really bad service, overpriced, food was bad. Coffee was decent. Will not be back.

Its Sunday morning and pretty quiet at bosco. We order coffee and breakfast. First coffee so bad - my tongue is still burnt- and horrible not just to look at but also to taste, I return it and ask for another. It arrives still looking bad but is slightly better to taste. I will not buy a second cup. The food was good and the cabinet food looked nice and well presented with counter food covered as it should be. Sadly the front of house staff couldn't be bothered clearing dirty tables and up to six tables sat untouched including mine for nearly half an hour. Unpleasant! Won't be back even though the chefs are doing a fine job, good hospitality should be the total experience not half of one.

We do a lot of riding around the countryside and Bosco Cafe is always a welcome site when passing through Te Kuiti. Food is great quality, wholesome, healthy choices and good old fashioned homemade looking cakes - good generous portions and have always had great coffee and Im very fussy about my coffee. The decor is fresh clean, and they have great seating outside in a nice garden area. Always look forward to going through TeKuiti for the Bosco experience.
