We stopped by charming Thames for a short afternoon and decided to get some food here. This bar atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. The steak which was perfectly cooked and went so well with delicious mushroom sauce. Ribs were tender and meaty, and we liked the pizza as well. The young lady who bar tend and brought us food was very nice. We recommend this place and will come back again to try other dishes.

Nice old walk in pub for lunch. The food was ok. I had pork belly which was cut into bite sized chunks and scattered over salad. This made it go cold so not so nice. I hope they address the fly problem, they were a nuisance . Nice coffee and good value for money. Great staff.

Our group of 17pax dined here, it was lovely. Nice ambience and the staff were polite and accommodated us upon arrival. It was a busy saturday dinner service as it was packed of locals. I had scotch fillet and it was nice, a bit small for the price I guess. Overall we had a great night. A must visit when your down Thames.

Not the normal pub ... each tie we end here ... pleasant choice of food ... great flavours and presentation. Wide voice of beers, wine and other. Interesting surroundings in the historic hotel. The ploughmans platter we shared was substantial and probably the best we've had

New to Thames, decided to try out the GBD. Had a super tasty Thai Beef Salad & a yummy Peach Tartan. Totally hit the mark for me.

Lovely food, comfy atmosphere, friendly staff. It was a shame I was too full for dessert; the cheesecake looked really good.

Friendly staff, great food, great prices only critique is that the pork belly was a tiny bit overcooked but the flavor was amazing. Dessert was beautiful and service was fast would 100% recommend

Awesome food and lovely staff. Will definitely be going back. It was quite busy tonight so it was quite loud inside, but my first bite of my lamb shank dismissed everything else as it was cooked to perfection! Sooooo good!
