Review Coco Coffee Bar - Thames

Very nice people who really care about the coffee. Place smells like my aunts house (her house smells lovely) so free nostalgia. Cronut was divinely good. They even gave us a free metal straw because they were out of paper ones.

This is the best coffee shop ever. The service is amazing and the staff are outstanding - so thoughtful, friendly and there to give you an amazing coffee experience. The coffee was perfect, a great blend of flavour and brewed perfectly - nice and hot. We had a piece of coconut and passion fruit slice - this was tops. We thoroughly recommend you try this coffee cafe for your next coffee - know you will be as delighted as we were today.

super cute and a perfect oatmilk cappuccino. New Zealand tends to lean into the heavier side of a dark roast, I love it a little lighter and this was very well balanced! The young lady running the place was so kind and engaging! do yourself a favor and stop through for a hot cuppa served warmly

Excellent coffee with a jalapeño scone. Not spicy try one it was great. Outside seating with a view to the Happenings on the Main Street.

Dropped in for a quick coffee, most cafes in town were busy being a puclic holiday and this was somewhat busy but I still managed to get my coffee under 5mins. Great tasting coffee, staff are friendly. Cute little shop, next time ill dine in with my coffee. Recommend!

Same as some of the other comments I would say real friendly barista. Nice little shop ... Friendly service.. Absolutely live the Chess on the table that you can play while having you latte.

Stopped in on the way to Coromandel and was so impressed that two days later we made a detour to pick up a takeaway on the way to Rotorua! Our first visit was a delight. We sat outside under the awning and shared a table with two others. They were very friendly and turned out to be local Councillors with lots of helpful information. They mentioned there was a ‘future Thames’ community meeting that afternoon and rashly asked for our suggestions as first-time visitors! We recommended planting trees all along the main street to add character. Also suggested making more of the heritage of the buildings as they’ve done successfully in Bangalow, Australia. A ‘panning for gold’ visitor experience was also discussed… Meanwhile excellent coffee plus indulgent scone with jam and cream was consumed. If you’re in or near Thames, do stop by Coco Cafe - who knows, you might change the course of local history while sipping latte!

From Auckland, driving by Thames. Pretty decent coffee. Picky barista here and I think the coffee was just a bit towards the milky side (to my liking anyway) I think I saw them use supreme coffee beans. Friendly staff and great service. Maybe might come again next time... 🤔
