Very old decor inside giving it the look like it's a bit old and dirty, food was good but not great. I had a toasted ham, cheese and tomato toasted sandwich and there was literally no cheese 😫 hubby had the eggs breakfast but the sausage used wasn't nice at all, he didn't eat it. Friendly staff tho. Not bad but wouldn't be my fist choice to go back, but should we need to we would eat there again.
This has to one of the best cafes in Thames. Very friendly staff and the food is of an excellent, consistent quality. The sandwiches are well filled and very tasty, and always fresh. Great variety of meals are available & the service is always quick. The Eggs Benedict is excellent value with a generous serving of Salmon, l am also addicted to the chocolate eclairs. Excellent coffee too. A joy to go to Sunburst Coffee Lounge. Charles Boyle 9/6/21
An absolute gem with great food at reasonable prices. I have a feeling the person who criticized the lady behind the counter was merely a sour old SOB looking for a fight. We three all thought the food was great, the service was excellent and the atmosphere convivial. We will be going there again. We would recommend this charming Cafe to everyone.
Great food and coffee. It's not often that you find a GREAT place for both GREAT COFFEE and GREAT FOOD. Both take out and eat in. This place is the traditional style, excellent cabinet food, hot pies and cold sandwiches etc and cabinets of slices and chocolate eclairs etc PLUS a full menu board featuring at least five different traditional KIWI BREAKFASTS! This is the place that the locals go to for genuine Kiwi food at very reasonable prices with Excellent, Friendly customer service 👌
Late lunch still had a good selection of food, friend ordered iced coffee which she said was lovely
