Review Robert Harris Coffee Roasters - Timaru

Okay okay this place is a perfect fill me up I'm in a starving mood fix. A little $$$ but WELL WORTH IT. The *black forest hot chocolate* is a MUST HAVE. Partner had a mint hot chocolate and mmm mmm mmm I must say for a person (me) who doesn't like mint this drink had me on the fence line 😊 I'm yet to rush back to try there hazelnut hot chocolate before they are gone. Okay food 👌 100/100 I got to this cafe nearly in tears, stomach grumbling crazy & a wicked attitude 😅 I must say after a food-gasm I left happy & sleepy 🧡

Wonderful atmosphere with great staff who were happy and welcoming to take our order. Not much of a wait on coffees either which also tasted great. Cheese scone was yum and everything else in the cabinet looked great. Will certainly be back to dine in another time to try something from the menu.

This morning finds me at Robert Harris Timaru. Really nice place. The young woman serving, was very welcoming, and had a friendly smile. Kai was scrumptious and went down really well as did the kāwhe & smoothie. Place was clean and tidy, and despite being really busy with takeaway kāwhe orders, kai & kāwhe arrived without a long wait. Definitely recommend this place if your in Town

Date scone and piece of loaf was yummy. Coffee was really nice but service was very slow. We had finished eating way before we got our coffee.

Late arrival on Saturday afternoon on route to Christchurch. The staff was ready to close (2o minutes to official closing time), but we got all what we needed, coffee a couple of slice of cake and a bit of refreshment for the road. We have been here earlier, that's why we wanted to stop here on this specific occasion. It explains everything we are returning customers now...

Good, well presented food. Could have been bigger portions for the price. Staff were busy but professional.

Stopped in for breakfast awaiting a meeting. Asked a preference for how I wanted my bacon and arrived perfectly to order. Quality plate of food and excellent coffee. Attentive staff quickly restored tables after diners departed. Well presented cabinet food and good menu with breakfast/brunch options. Even had staff ask if the bacon was cooked as asked for. Superb for customer attention. Will revisit again.

This is a good place for coffee & a variety of food available it's busy & can be very noisy at times.

The muffin bread and butter desert is amazing and the decor is new and cosey. The service seemed pretty and and grey at the same time though 😉
