Honestly there's not enough good things to say about this fabulous unexpected cafe! Best coffee I have had for a long time, the pies were out of this world. Super friendly staff. Lots of quirky art pieces, great places to sit birth inside and out. Just amazing! I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Just had to try these famed paua pies. Absolutely delicious. Had a big Family presence with myself, but a small wait for extra pies were definitely worth it. The girls thoroughly enjoyed their passionfruit cheesecake too.

Lovely outdoor area at the rear of the cafe to enjoy my coffee and slice in the sun, dog friendly which was a bonus. And not forgetting my a box of paua pies to take home. Highly recommended.

Amazing place. The people here are just stunning and very polite. I was here with my friend and we ordered coffee and pie and take a chocolate cake for home. The pie was the best pie I have ever eaten in New Zealand. The coffee was a bit sour and I prefere a bit more bitter taste. We did very well we took a cake it was amazing and very memorable finish of our trip. I don't have any food requirements, so I didn't mention it. There is for sure some vegetarian pies. You can park in front of cafe. The place is suitable for children there is the option sitting outside too.

Delicious pie... wish I had room to try all the flavours! Really nice to sit in the sun and wash it down with a cold brew from Gisbourne. Friendly staff, good food, cold beer, nice location all combined for an extremely pleasant pit stop.
