Review Burger King - Turangi

Stopped at this Burger King while driving SH1. No offence; wasn’t expecting much- just the typical Burger King/fast food experience. However, the food me and my group received was put together with such care beyond anything we had ever experienced in the budget fast food chain world. Perfectly centred and symmetrical assembly, smoky burger patties, not too much sauce, pretty fresh veges! The lady who took our orders was so so so kind. Big smiles, great vibes, and apologised for the long wait even though the wait was comparable to normal fast food chains. She even told us the fries were fresh and hot, and indeed they were. Amazing stuff. We managed to eat our whoppers in the car with no residue grease or sauce. No napkins needed. The only downside was that the shared bathroom with Z was in truly a grim state 💀💀💀. However this may not be the BK responsibility, and is more a reflection of the patrons bombing the bathroom. Big ups Turangi BK.

Rebel whoppers were good. Soda was as well. Some furniture was broken but otherwise fine for takeaway.

Stopped at this Burger King while topping up fuel. Clean and spacious, with friendly staff. Food meets the Burger King standard.

Best BK ever. A carload of us ordered different meals yesterday 3/12/22 and everything was fresh, hot and perfectly made. Seriously the best BK we’ve ever had. Whoever the team was working was spot on. Didn’t know BK could taste that good lol

We like stopping here for lunch whenever driving between Auckland and Wellington. Meals are always good quality, tasty, and reasonably priced. The restaurant is large enough to cater for, at a guess, about 40 people but we've never seen more than about 10 people which is good for social distancing.

Def getting better. Like all Burger King's it's a hit and miss with shake machine and hot fries.

Got asked for my vaccine pass for the first time here . Was big and clean and the manager took it upon herself to be the vaccine guard at the door. Which I commend as none of these staff should be expected to become bouncers now. Food was fresh and crisp and the service was prompt and friendly

Was extremely busy, but staff were working at their best and once we got to the front of the line had amazing customer service! The meal was nice a fresh too 😋
