Great cafe! Super friendly staff/owners. Offer a wide range of Gluten free options. Coffee is best in town. Love coming here.

My wife had a Great cheese scone and I had the Rosemary lamb pie. Both where delicious with very friendly service. I will most definitely be back!

Possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was actually warned by several people not to come to this cafe, but I thought I'd give them a chance and experience it for myself.<br/>We went to the counter, weren't greeted, the girl just leered at us. We placed our orders, ignoring the waitress's unfriendly manner and went to sit down. Food was served promptly however, but was almost slammed down in front of us by another grumpy looking staff member. Food looked ok, but didn't taste very nice. Will not return.

Went in for a quite coffee on a Sunday afternoon and felt like we were being rushed out. Coffee was shocking! Staff were OK but we did feel like an inconvenience. This 'used to be' a great Cafe. Whatever happened.

This WAS one of my favourites in Upper Hutt but you never know how good a place is until something goes wrong. <br/><br/>My coffee was awful..... new barista??<br/><br/>I ordered the corn fritters, first lot were doughy, taken away with no apology. They came back after every one else had finished. Still doughy but worse there was a hair in one of the fritters. The table saw me pull it out.<br/><br/>I told the waitress, who didn't apologise. I told her I would prefer a refund. I had to go to the counter and remind them of the refund to then be accused of putting the hair there myself.<br/><br/>The situation was handled terribly. Won't be back until there is a change.

We enjoyed sitting out in the sun and the staff were friendly. The kids enjoyed the standard fare of hot chips and my iced chocolate was rather delisous. We will be back to try out the menu for sure. Much enjoyed.

Looking for somewhere friendly, great food, great atmosphere and great coffee - then Cibo has it.<br/>Miss my daily/weekly constitutional and especially the bacon/maple/banana breakfasts.<br/>Keep it up team<br/>Dean<br/>Hamilton
